I don't think the Injuries from tornadoes are covered and discussed enough. Some people are paralyzed, or have their legs taken away from them. Or an eye or their hearing from pressure drops. It's always great when we survive. But some people survive with life altering Injuries. Sometimes there are 200+ Injuries, but we never see coverage on this part. I think it could help make less Injuries if we all knew how people were injured while taking or running towards shelter.

Absolutely agree. I've been in a nocturnal F1 (cant even compare to these massive ones - my god) and that while physically I was ok I have horrible tornado anxiety so badly I almost throw up when sirens start like yesterday. Feel so badly for these people. Horrific.

This weather season right now spring has not been kind to us and mother nature has been one big lady

Let's address storm shelters and community storm shelters. People need a place to shelter an interior closet in a house built in the 1950's will no save people from EF4-5 tornado except by luck. If the state was not named Oklahoma it would have been named Tornado!. Build shelters. oOn house rebuilds use plenty of J bolts and hurricane clips. I hope everone well and that you find missing pets calive and well.

i agree, i live in texas and literally nobody has any tornado shelters. my area hasn’t gotten too many tornados, but all it takes is one strong tornado and it would be fatal.
