I am enjoying Keeper of the Lost Cities so far and have read 5 of the books so far. Nice book haul.

That's wild. Next week a new B&N will be opening in my town and it is going where a Petco was. The strip mall is also getting some sort of clothing store to take the place of Old Navy. And, this new B&N is replacing one that is about 30 minutes south of me. I took a half-day vacation next Weds so i can go to the grand opening. I'm definitely curious how it will be with a smaller square footage. Until you said this about your store, I thought the move of the store south of me to my town had to do with the mall developer in that other town being a butthead and raising prices and/or to get a better tax rate. My county is definitely cheaper than the one south. I guess this downsizing to smaller spaces is a company-wide thing. However it happened, i am so excited to have a bookstore in my town. I have major driving phobias and can't drive the interstate or drive at night. The store that was south of me was only 30 minutes by interstate but it took me 45-50 minutes going the back way. I am super excited, but my bank account is crying. Lol

I have no idea why this one moved. I’m not sure if it was a better spot (because it was always too crowded around the holidays at the other spot, being right by the mall), or if it was cheaper for them. I was a little sad that it felt smaller than I remembered, but I really liked the theming. I love having a bookstore close, but it’s so tempting to go there all the time to get new books! 😅
