Always some sort of hiccups!! We’re slowly getting boxes unpacked, but we at least now know what elementary Presley will go to and have him registered!

Whew! 😅 Congrats to getting there and starting to settle in! I’m so inspired by your grace and composure in the middle of chaos 😂. I’m about to start my family’s move to NY in mid-July and it’s a lot!

Aw, thank you! It was a lot, but I feel like once we actually got to the new house a pressure released. I wish you luck on your move! You'll get through it!

So happy the move went as well as it could have! Loved the Leon cam bit, that was lovely! Can't wait for the full tour!

They did so well! I had no idea what to expect from them seeing as they hadn't been on a plane before. And they've been so good about actually moving to a new house and state!

One of my dogs was trying to find the cat when yours was meowing on the plane. Glad the move has been accomplished. Hopefully, the unpacking goes well.

Oh my gosh! Too funny! We still have some boxes about, but more is unpacked than packed.

We moved in April and our home was filled with boxes for so long!! Good luck with the sorting and unpacking!

Thank you! We are slowly getting things unpacked. A little bit more every day, and I think we're over the halfway point now!

How were you able to have your cats in the cabin? I thought they had to be down in baggage.

Most airlines (at least in the US) will allow cats and small dogs in the cabin. You have to pay a fee per pet and they have a certain amount of spots that can be occupied by animals. Also, because Arizona was already over 100°F on average, the airlines were no longer accepting animals in cargo, and it’ll be like that until the fall.

@ChelseaZhao OK. Cool. I've only ever been on airplanes back in 2001 when I went on an Alaskan cruise. I've never had to fly with pets. When my parents and I moved from Ohio to North Carolina 27 years ago, we drove since it was only about 8 hours. Our cats didn't like that at all, but we all made it here. Lol

@@angelamccollister We were so glad that taking them on the plane was an option, because the other was a 4 day drive. They would have hated that even more!
