Nice commuter bike.. next time use 2000 sandpaper with water over paintjob, and finaly clearcoat over it (Prolly 2k sandpaper also over clearcoat, and then another coat of clearcoat). It will be a great result! Cheers! And regards from russia

It’s an old Raleigh so I thinks it’s an English frame. The serial number suggests late 60s so most likely UK.

is it an alloy headset ? 1:14

No it’s steel, got it on eBay but now I’m thinking about it the listing said it was but I never checked. So hopefully it is!!!
