You are so LUCKY, I DREAM of finding a Mustang like that tucked away in a barn in THAT GREAT of shape. The only way that could have been better would be if it was a 1970, my favorite body style and I was born in 1970, and it was a Boss 429, but I love Mach I Mustangs. I can't wait to see Part 2.

@@rangeroadmoto I didn't see any rust on the body panels in the video, couldn't see the floor pans, don't know if they'll need replacing, and don't know if the engine will run or not yet. Guess I'll find out in Part 2.

I think that's Gulfstream Aqua , color would have an "F" in it on the data plate. With the blackout hood contain another digit. I had a plane-jane '69 fastback in that color 45 yrs ago, with a 250 6 cyl. and an auto trans. Had the same rust issues behind the rear wheel openings. Wish I never sold mine ; a V8 4 speed would have been heaven.

Damn, All I ever found in a barn was a 1949 Allis chalmers. Have not got it running yet but working on it. The other day I saw someone pull out a yellow mustang out of a little shed I have passed at least a million times. It looked exactly like the one in Gone in 60 seconds. A few months ago I was driving out in the country when I saw these guys pulling a red 1957 Plymouth fury out of a barn covered in dust... I'm a little jealous

You need at least a 700 cold cranking amps battery if not more. I have a 800 in mine but I have a 70 Mach..factory M code 4 barrel car. Don’t rush anything. I know how bad you wanna get it running but it’s just not worth tearing something up. Change the belts and hoses before you drive the car, not to mention brake work. And I’d run that motor up to operating temp and drain the oil and change it again just for good measure. Good luck
