My mum has fond memories of the the Willow Tea Rooms in the '40s - they were still the classiest treat to round off any shopping trip to Glasgow. Seems that people are prepared to pay handsomely for the nostalgia...

His antiques and history knowledge really do make him an expert that does seem to exceed many of those other experts I've seen previously. His miniature camera find and glassware find that became the highest seller and another high seller on Antiques Road Trip really does show off his knowledge.

I've only started watching again BECAUSE he's gone. Either David comes back or keep it as is. They need to get rid of that STUPID "YES!!" crap with the SILLY leg kick at the end. Cheapens BH,it really does.

Why on earth did they get rid of Tim Wannacott?? This programme is not the same without him. I never missed an episode but now if it's on it's on.

He was crap and a poor replacement for David. The guest host format (the current set up with the auctioneers and regular experts hosting) works really well and has brought it back to the high standard David set that Tim cheapened.
