It’s funnier if you use “The Proposal”, in which Sandra Bullocks is the American playing a Canadian and Ryan Reynolds is the Canadian playing an American (I mean, technically an Alaskan one, but still…) It’s hilarious though for Canadian reactors not to recognise their own; as an Australian I have an excuse at least to not tell the difference between the accents.

@@borjankosarac3645 I don’t think he has one; he sounds pretty American to me. Ryan’s from Vancouver, BC about 3 hours from Seattle, Washington. He’s been living in the States for years. He’s married to an American (Blake Lively) and lives in New York now. Personally, I think Canadians from BC don’t sound any different from Americans-those of us from the West Coast, anyway. My Canadian friends from Toronto and neighboring territories however sound Canadian to me 😂

The hilarious thing about this Cassandra Nova appearance is that she looks, especially in the scene where she is puppeting Wolverine, a LOT like her creator Grant Morrison. Specifically in Grant’s appearances as a villain in two My Chemical Romance videos.

@@jrobertlysaght Hard to say, could be though. The trailer shows that Dr. Strange has a role to play here, which means the Mulitverse does too. I assume Strange sent Deadpool to this Wolverine’s universe to recruit him to come fix something that Deadpool’s Wolverine allowed to happen in the Prime universe 🤷‍♂️

"Liefeld's Just Feet" - genius. Also a v quick cut to purple flash in dark cloud, so another Alioth confirmation i hope.

Seeing as how this is dealing with an alternate version of wolverine, it stands to reason that this is a version of Cassandra nova where she killed Charles in the womb instead of charles killing her. That would explain why she's not deformed like in the comics.

@kay-jay1581 the reason given in the comics as to why charles killed her in the womb is because he felt how evil she was. Also stands to reason that she would found a version of the xmen that is comprised of all villains.

I lost track of how many times I watched this trailer this morning. One of my favorite parts is at 1:25, and it involves Liefeld’s Just Feet Store in the background. I’ll never get tired of having that joke in a Deadpool movie.

I love the song choice: "Life is a mystery Everyone must stand alone I hear you call my name And it feels like home" For Ryan begging for Years that Hugh plays Wolverine in a Deadpool movie AND both characters are coming home to the MCU 😄

BOTH Wolverine AND Deadpool are Canadian. Have been since their first comics appearance. The MCU has confirmed it's the same with them.

Apparently this IS Cassandra. I can understand why she wasn't included in X-men '97. That WOULD'VE been a lot. Though Genosha was her doing, it's interesting she's coming up in this 🎬 . I can't wait to see what they do with her.

As an aside on your title: the reason that Wolverine will mostly have the sleeves is because High Jackman has dealt with skin cancer and doesn’t want to be exposed to the sun and get it again; presumably when he’s sleeveless, it’s an indoor set… Which is sadly done too much by Disney projects, but this indicates that a number of scenes are on actual real sets!

Genuinely have not been this hype for an MCU trailer in a LONG time.

the wikipedia got an update on some of the casts: so when i watched this trailer...i had to pause bit by bit, so what i saw is some mutant characters at 2:32, lady deathstrike, Azazel, calisto??, toad?? sabertooth?? so when i check back the wiki, they are indeed the character mutant appearing, not so sure about calisto being there since no name listed in the wiki... i also noticed that the portal got edited in plain white because usually in the past movies of Dr. strange, avengers, whenever they cast portals, you can see the side area where you are going...

Maybe I'm slow on the uptake, but the words on the end of barrel of Wade's gun say "Smile! and wait for the flash." That's very dark and very funny.

Take a good look at the sign for the store that blows up shortly after Like a Prayer starts playing.

Did you catch the easter egg as they walk in slow motion with a store in the background? The store was called "Liefeld's Just Feet." Poking fun at the creator of DeadPool being horrible at drawing feet and being notorious for avoiding it when he could in the books. lol
