Honestly the whole sequence from 3:37 to 3:57 is my favourite part. Absolutely amazing.

I love the emphasis on Chloe’s bass in this performance, I really wish they would’ve built it up more in the lead up rather than just discovering st the last minute. Their biggest strength and possibly the reason they won was the bass given they mentioned that it was the weakness for all-girl groups. Thus, Chloe’s bass really helped them to stand out and compete on a whole other level.

Flashing back to 8th grade when I spent hours learning this whole dance. I can still do it perfectly

Her name is Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the movie, that's what EJ means. Putting aside that first name, which kinda means nothing, she still picked Abernathy as her characters last name, and I do believe she's referring to "Hunger Games" and at the point they made the first "Pitch Perfect" movie, she just finished filming the first "Hunger Games", so maybe this was her spoiling/teasing people or just some kind of tribute to Woody Harrelson whose character had the name Haymitch Abernathy
