Ferran isn’t a bad player, I think Xavi is trying to give him minutes at LW and make him an inverted winger, realistically Ferran is a playmaking RW. Barça have an overload of RWs: Dembooz, Raphina, and Ferran. Because Dembooz and Raphiña occupy the right flank, Ferran does need to leave for a natural LW to balance the squad. We just don’t have the time to give Ferran consistent minutes at RW.

Ferran has played on the RW and didn't perform either. I think Barca was too big for him.

Nah i feel raphinha should leave.. Ferran is very good at crossing anyone who says otherwise obviously hasn't seen him play in that right wing.. whenever he's been deployed he does a decent bit of dribbling and puts in a brilliant cross which our players have so often missed... Plus selling Ferran would be a loss.. selling raph for 70+mil would be a clear as day profit

@@BarcaNews29 I don’t think the club is too big for him as he did well with City and his first season with Barça. He needs freedom to float to the box without the ball. Cancelo would push up on the right which would force Ferran to play inverted and find the right spaces to create or score. Similar to what Jordi does for the LWs. With Barça first season he had more freedom to move in the front 3 with Auba, Traore/Dembooz. With Lewa in this year, wingers were inconsistent in either playing to wide and crossing to the box and playing sideways to the midfielders coming forward at least for the first half of the season. Dembooz is the only one that can take 1v1. If Lewa can drop in like a False 9 like Benzema and have a slow build up, Ferran can thrive in that situation because he’ll have freedom to move inside and create for others. This is just an example, if you look how City played with him, it’s totally different tactics.

Dest and Julian alternating at Rb isn't a bad idea either. Could be a better option than loaning cancelo the more I think about it. I think dest has potential to be a good Rb and likewise Julian

there are so many players returning from loan that Barca need to sell. Just to name a few Lenglet, Umtiti, Collado, and yes, Dest. Too many blame Xavi for his lack of performance but he's been with AC Milan longer than he has with Xavi and he's been completely dropped from their squad the last half of the season. He played during the international break for USA, so he wasn't injured. I was once a defender of Dest, and was hoping his loan to Milan would teach him how to defend, but he's buckled. He needs to go to a team that doesn't have the pressure Barca does so he can regain his focus and play his game.

That wouldn't work. Barca relies on their fullbacks to make the field wider. If you only play with 2 attacking midfielders and 2 forwards, all plays would go through the middle. This would create lots of traffic in the middle of the field and it would make it easy for teams to defend against.

Geertruida is a strong RB Not really interested in Carasco to be honest, talking of LW's, let keep Abde and Fati and rotate them❤
