This video makes cry. That was my first trip alone. I was supposed to have a bungalow but they gave me a regular room in the main building, better cuz it's closer to the restaurants and bars. And also you can go for free to the next door hotel Arenas blancas

Super nice place..whit all enclouded so eat and drink as much you want and go down to a prefecto beach...wonderfull... omly one ting to coplain abbout wash allthose hvo have a lillte extra speakers with som crap hip hop music...though hotell playted caribien music..like i supost to bee on vacation in caribien,,

I was just there a few days ago! Do not pay for this resort!!!!! The food isn’t that bad but it’s repetitive lunch & dinner. Flies every where in the buffet area. The Cuban people are so humble and sweet. The rooms are smell like mildew. Not to say the bathroom 😣 at the beach there’s no bars! For the price that you pay to get here from Havana not worth it!!! Too expensive, Cayo Santa Maria is 100 tines worth it.

Amazing quality, I can’t understand why there are so many bad reviews on tripadisor but I can’t see anything wrong

I like the name Solymar...Sun and sea.

In September, rested there, there was a lot of rum and other things, the ocean and the beach are beautiful.

This is all inclusive resort. There is no need for that. You can go to Varadero Town. You can walk there.

There was a bar on the beach but it got blown away during the hurricane last year. I was there last November, hopefully they re built it when I go in 29 days. The pool bar isn't too far from the beach, just bring a bubba mug.

i stayed there in Feb 2019,it's ok except out toilet was blocked for 6 days,no help and i complained everyday

So I got stuck here because of a delayed flight ..Dated, roaches, and all I heard every night was street dogs fighting.. broke my heart ( I’m not a picky person.. but this sucked)

@@MyTrips Thanks. Think that was the HOTEL where HAD stayed when went albeit it seems much changed even the name albeit those PALM TREES in FRONT STILL LOOK SAME ;0) is there still a store for tourists across and an echange office on the left when you ezit ???

Perhaps because this is favorite place for young people. Not everybody like loud drunk people. If you the one, nice... Everything else it was OK.

Thank you! I was very concerned because I will spend two nights at this hotel. I thought there were other issues such as poor hygiene, food, etc. I know it's an old facility. But, if it's clean and the food is good (I know I'm not going to a five star hotel), then I will be fine. Have a good day.
