Ahhhh the Kristi Yamaguchi doll! She’s been a hero of mine since childhood. I wanted to skate because of her, until I realized learning to skate would require a lot of falling down. 😂

Same, I loved watching her as a little girl in the 90s , she was so graceful and elegant . Ice skating and gymnastics were so amazing to watch, it blew my mind how they could do that.

OMG same! I got to see her skating in real life when I was a kid and she's the person who made me love ice skating (well, watching it, because we couldn't afford to do it) and one of my favorite Barbies and Ken were the ice skating team Barbie and Ken I got one year for Christmas. I really want her now! ⛸️💖✨

LOL For me the inspiration was Dorothy Hamill & old movies featuring Sonja Henie, but the first & only time I ever got a chance to ice skate all I did was repeatedly fall down & scrape up my hands on the ice. So that dream died pretty much instantly lmao.

Weird Barbie was BRILLIANT. And it is so much fun when movies based on toys acknowledge what truly happens to toys. More so, specific ones. For instance, in The LEGO Movie they designed the Astronaut LEGO Minifgure with the helmet broken as it did happen back then.

Lupita & Roberta are the Millie skin tone. (Ex: purple pants yoga, wheelchair) Not 100% sure about Mia just yet.

What a goodie box! The book looks heavy enough to do some flower and leaf pressing. The clothes swap with the Fashionista Ken made me chuckle. The Kristi Yamaguchi doll went on the wishlist when I saw her. The Wierd Barbie was a nice touch to add to the movie dolls. A Wierd Barbie makeover is definitely different. Popstar doll looked really good. ❤

We love weird Barbie. About to make our own weird Barbie with my 9 yr old. She left a bag of dolls outside and someone stole 2 dolls and burned/melted another one's hair. I cut out as much of the melted hair as I could and now my 9 yr old is looking for ideas on how to make her into her own Weird Barbie.
