Barbel Fishing On the Kennet - Short Easy Fishing? - Sometimes! (Video 235)

You join me during a late evening,summer back out on the Kennet chancing my luck in two swims, one of which would be the same swim that I'd caught that recent double figure bream in, before. It had been a case of head scratching on my previous trips and although I am one whom hates to over fish one swim, sometimes moving from spot to spot with a bike in tow can be difficult and this particular evening I did decide to fish two swims, one of which being the swim from the prior video!

Bloody lovely, I miss the Kennett. Been looking at some R&DAA videos on their stretches of the Kennett and Thames, just feel its too far to go

Harry it's the Advanta rvs river ambush 7 foot 1.75. Hope you've had a good season on the Kennet too.

@@markerd5378 . Thanks Mark. I’ve just ordered the Advanta RVS 7 foot 1.75TC Rod. Very cheap price! Will be useful on small rivers especially in tight swims!

Mark. I received the new Advanta RVS 7 foot rod today. A nice looking rod and, at £26, a bargain. I look forward to using it on a small river next year!

Cheers mate, if you need a small bait runner then try a small shimano in no larger than 2000/2500 size.
