Conan was not the worst dressed, definitely not! Memorable, yes. Avant-garde, yes. The worst, no.

Conan and Joao's outfits are so creative and artistic (also in the National Finals and interviews). I think many people don't get them because they are "outside the box". But Conan, WE love you! 😤

Nope! I didn't liked their outfits...because... i simply didn't like it, even i agree that they are very creative!

I took Conan's outfit as the leaves of a rose since there were the roses in the background. The outfit is very high fashion and the pleating work is just gorgeous. I know pleating satin is so hard it can come out overworked and puckered. It's some great work and my compliments to whoever made it.

Conan Osris had very beautiful clothes, avant garde and unique

Conan Osiris' visuals were as next level and adventurous as his song and performance. He was my absolute winner of this year as an all-around package and I hope he takes this award as a symbol of standing out.

I don't think there was any bad outfits this year. Even the weird ones fit the songs.

Are we just going to brush over Sebastian Rejmans pants?

Besides I have a lot of goth friends so they looked great to me especially the singer.

Conan was on stage on Michela's performance when "the grass is always greener, when you love me deeper darling".

To me, the outfit from North Macedonia was old fashion.

Cyprus was just a no Belgium was wrong in multiple ways, looks not the primary one Belarus was just super cheap Britney Portugal was a fabulous artistic master piece that worked perfectly with the outfit

I've forgotten to add a little more: Deban and William people like you and Conan Osíris is what the world needs more and more, people who love and know how to appreciate what is really good. Now the good news is that Conan's having all his concerts full of fans, he's very happy with his life, I guess, and I love to see him happy. All my love to both of you.

Tamta's outfit looked amazing on stage! The black contrasted the white background and the jewels looked sparkling with the lights on her! She danced beautifully in those boots and the gloves gave it real sex appeal. The reveal, my God. So good. Divisive yes, I get it though.

@Wiwibloggs I think Conan should have stuck with the white costumes. The green costumes were too dark and didn’t stand out against the stage. The footwork in the choreography didn’t stand out as much. Plus, the white helped connect the song’s theme of using technology to contact the dead with that of ancient rituals where song and dance are used for the same purpose. The green made it look something more from a post-Renaissance European Street festival.

I literally thought The Barbara Dex award was for the best dressed so ofc i was like "Mmhmm of course Portugal won" but now when i realized it was for the worst, im shook cus his outfit was the most fashionable and just amazing. 😥

Conan Osíris was so hated that has to win this. Is this deserved? No. It was just the best entry from any ESC. EVER!

Here is the thing... all other entries' costumes were so f**king basic... that anything else that could not be found in Primark would just be outrageous....

I disagreed with this list except for 2 acts. Concept is all well and good but I never really liked Conan's green colour. I absolutely looooved their style in the national qualifiers and when you compare that to the semi-final 1 the latter doesn't seem to fit Conan very well, it comes out a little awkard and bulky, while his moves are light and airy, it doesn't compliment him at all. Same can be said of the dancer, in the national qualifier when he does that jump kick in the air his outfit really accentuates the move and makes it really pop while this outfit didn't. The overall flow of the pants and jacket of the national qualifiers, with feathers flying to and fro really makes the dance and the whole performance stand out. The color white is also much better under the lights and makes the moves and the performance bigger, while the Semi-Final dark green under dark lighting made Conan disappear a little. I have strongly believed this even before this "award" that Conan would have qualified if he had gone more for the national qualifiers look, which was AMAZING. One other I agree with on this list is Belgium, I thought the singer didn't pull off the Tokyo construction worker look at all. He is so sweet and angelic, just put him in a nice turtleneck and let him melt the hearts of Europe. Instead he stood there awkardly in an outfit that just simply wasn't himself. And yes, the song is about fighting and maybe being too sweet doesn't fit that, but the performance is, when all is said and done, very sweet and ballad-y, so the Belgian outfitters kinda lost the plot on that one and tried to make the singer and performance into something he and it isn't.

And Greece ???

I'm surprised Romania didn't win. Ester looked like an ostrich....

I like Zena's outfit, it helped to take the song into 2019 whereas the song felt quite early-noughties before.

Tamta looked like she was wrapped up in cling film. Deserved the first place not runner up

i voted for tamta, mainly because the oitfit screamed 'don't pay attention to my vocals'...

Actually i don't understand any of their choices. Even Elliot's outfit was right and fits the music and the staging perfectly. Roko should have been nominated and probably would have won, but apparently europe has a terrible taste and keeps pushing on the full white from head to toe being the new black, which is not. Those golden wings were the most cheesy thing i've seen since that time when i used to take family pictures around 1995. With that being said, Zala and Gasper's outfits worked so well.

Actualy, you two are the cutiest bloggers, interviewers from Eurovision. Good job!

Absolutely agree with the “winner”)

Still there were two things I didn't like about the Macedonian costume. Although she had a nice figure and is rather slim, the dress (the cut) made her look unfit for the dress. as if she would have a few kilos too much for it. the draping around her breasts were not to her advantage esp. in real. when she moved while singing. more than on picture. the other thing, that didn't fit, the colour didn't fit her color scheme. I bet, there are other colours that could fit the song for sure. but teal doesn't fit her personal colours and body-style. I saw her dress first on the semi final, and the whole time I was looking at the dress, wondering, who may have picked that up resp. why didn't anybody adapt it. The final the same time. that is why I couldn't understand the high ratings - going by all in all appearance and performance.

Worst dressed was Duncan Laurence. Most memorable was Conan Osiris followed by Kate Miller-Heidke and her iconic crown

I really liked Tamta's outfit and thought she looked so sexy in it! Combined with the song and dance it definitely made her the sexiest woman of Eurovision 2019.

Tamara looked great, I don't get how she made top 5 Conan's look was bad. The white and gold from the national final was much much better

Eliot had a winter jacket on stage. Maybe urban, but suitable for other sport events. I didnt see his body at all. In this case i prefer Zena, but it was also too painful for my eyes.

I don't agree with choices this year at all. Tamta looked great and trendy. Tamara was beautiful. Conan was artsy, he took roses to the next level, although i prefered his NF look. I even liked Eliot's jacket, although it's not for him maybe. Even Zena was cool for her performance. There were some much boring looks that deserved to be on the list.

If the voting was/had been based on the old criteria of worst look, then I think Tamta should have won, I really did not like her outfit. And Belarus I didn't like that much either.

Was there literally ANY outfit you didn't like?

A few things that I missed: Austria?? That thing was just... not so beautiful. And Greece? Was I the only one that thought it was just very weird.

That's fine. Not everybody have to understand conceptual and editorial decisions like this one. I've been working in editorial fashion for more than a decade and Conan's outfit was absolutely stunning. A lot of iconic fashion designer would put this on the front cover of a magazine. Just because people don't get it or like it, it doesn't mean it is not good. Aesthetic is actually a knowledge field commonly learned from having a art school background.

Chiara Milanoli That’s an interesting idea about costumes overpowering people. I get what you mean. I remember that Loreen tested an even more flowy outfit in her second rehearsal and opted against it because it was a distraction.
