I have some difficulty in understanding that children are a blessing because I had a traumatic childhood. And I have decided to never cause that pain to another child. I want to have kids too but everytime I think about it I see them as time consuming, sleepless nights, sacrificing your career etc. Please understand that I want to change my view. They are little adults that are growing up. You get to contribute to their experiences, knowledge and wisdom. You also can pass on a legacy to your kids and kids within the community. I absolutely love this man!! He's genuinely a kind, decent, family man who wanted to make our Country better. It's tragic that the GOP Senate showed its racist head from the day he was elected. If they'd just given a him a chance (not expecting then to agree with all of his decisions, hell I didn't agree with everything)and tried to work together to benefit the Country, the same Country that those like McConnell and Graham claim to love & swear to defend, just imagine how much more could have been accomplished. Hopefully, President Biden knows them well enough and knows their weak spots, he'll get further with them (plus he's white, their favorite color other than green). I just want us to treat one another with respect, believe it or not, you can respectfully disagree with someone without causing a fight. Treat each other fairly and YES, recognize that white privilege and systemic racism exists everywhere but no where more obvious than in the police force/judicial system. AND IT MUST STOP! I was married to a police officer, it's a demanding job, it's terrifying as a spouse to watch the person you love, walk out the door and pray that he/she comes home, so I am not ANTI-POLICE. I think that we need more police, better trained police, we need psychologists to be on the force, to go out on calls with them. We also need to vet the people hired. Your permanent record should follow a police officer from one department to another and, if you commit a crime wearing your blue uniform or commit domestic violence at home, you MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. If found guilty, you go to jail just like anyone else. And, something that I believe has been overlooked, certainly understated, we've been at war for 19 years. Some of those police officers were directly impacted by 9/11, if his/her parent was killed that horrific day. Or perhaps a parent went to war and didn't come home. Or, returned incomplete either physically, mentally, maybe both. Some officers served in one of the wars, pick one, but they were around people of color who'd killed thousands of US citizens at home and even more in the Middle East. When I say vetted, I am talking about past employment, life experiences, life growing up, current home life. A properly trained shrink should be able to judge to a certain degree of certainty, how racially biased the applicant is, does he see a difference in shades of people of color, or are ALL people of color automatically, subconsciously or consciously labeled a threat. Obviously, no skin tone from light-skinned to jet black deserves to be targeted simply for the skin God gave them. So, obviously, the applicant is disqualified. And, we need certain national qualifications especially for physically fit officers and psychologically fit officers. And, lastly, we must pay them a proper salary. So, I think that the Democrats need to hire a P.R. team to get the words "Defund the Police" removed from the people's vernacular. Whomever uttered those words first, if it's a Democrat, should apologize and explain why those devicive words were uttered and retract them. Hopefully, a great P.R. team will have a better catch phrase! Clean up, Clean house and Get Out if there's just a hint of impropriety!! It won't stop all of the problems, but it might put us on a pathway to justice for all!!

Michelle has always been herself Beautiful, smart, caring, and a loving wife and as had her own projects to do in the White House ! Michele is my favorite 1st day of all time! God Bless this family !
