I like how you used the f-clamp to lock the wedges. Pretty clever. I made some similar clamps. I made the wedges such that one had a hole in it and the bolt passed through it so it wouldn't slide. Then I could just tap the other wedge home with a mallet or small hammer. Your use of the f-clamp pretty much removes the reason I made the more complicated wedges. Good stuff. Looking forward to your other videos.

Но для изготовления этих приспособ, она использовала дорогие инструменты. Дешевле купить трубные струбцины.

You shouldn't have a gap behind the router bit on your table. Move the fence up so you can slide the workpiece along it. As for the clamps, use thicker tapered stock for greater clamping force. Looks good though.

She is using a ball bearing bit so it does not matter that she had a gap between the fence and workpiece. She probably did not want to waste time by take the fence completely off or more likely she wanted to use the vacuum which was attached to the fence.

Une vieille méthode de menuisier mais trop mal connue des bricoleurs. Je me suis fait le même système il y a de nombreuses années. Merci à toi pour nous partager cette astuce.

Thank you very much! You don't need a drill press for the bar clamps. A cordless screwdriver is sufficient.

Tanks! I used spruce, softwood. For me the cheapest solution.

Danke! Hallo Mike, der Hobel ist ok. Wenn ich geahnt hätte, dass ich so viel hobeln werde, hätte ich mir aber einen anderen zugelegt. Denn er hat schon seine Eigenheiten, die einem für 100 € mehr womöglich erspart bleiben. Was denkst du denn über den Hobel, weil du 'lachst'?
