I am extremely late to this, but yes there are! B&M has at least 3 that I know of (Vest, Old School Over the Shoulders, and Hyper Clam Shell Restraints). Intamin has many types as well (Hard shell over the shoulder, soft shell over the shoulder, Plain old lapbars, and finally, the horrible messes called Skyrush's lapbars). Never forget RMC, GCI, and PTC restraints too (all different)! The list goes on, but I think I've made my point.

Yeah..... the first time I rode it I did just that and it was the first coaster with inversions.

I love literally everything about Banshee.. The theme, aesthetics, elements, Banshee scream, Son of Beast memorial, sound the coaster makes, the sign, smoothness, and the restraints... Everything. It’s definitely my favorite, and it’s an amazing night ride (especially during Halloween Haunt). Also it’s not the only one at KI with the locker system. It’s the same with Flight of Fear and Mystic Timbers.

Agreed. I went to KI for the first time yesterday since the early 2000s. Out of their new top 3 (Banshee, Diamondback, Orion) this was the only one I had to get a 2nd ride on!

Cash Register Banshee’s is unbearable. It has good speed and a good layout but the rattle is just terrible

I love that the Son of Beast has an “eternal flame” burning. I mean, it’s not lit here... but it’s a really nice touch. I have a soft spot for that ride... as much as it was a kidney killer.

Hey taylor, this comment is for me to tell you a few things 1. Congrats dude, this is your 500th video, all with amazing content that needs to be watched and rewatched 2. I went back to some of your older reviews and I immediately noticed some huge differences. First, you sound a lot more confident now then you did last year, or even earlier this year. Secondly, I noticed how unintersesting your old reviews were compared to these new ones (no offense) Finally, I noticed that the film quality is much better than it was before. The film here looks so good!

After MANY coasters ridden I still have this as #2 in my all time favorites

Banshee is currently my #4 steel coaster, honestly love it. And one quick side note, Fire Hawk also requires you to use a locker and I believe most of the time so does Flight of Fear, that really frustrates me because I have a season pass and although I can pass on the X-Base coasters, I would never do so for Banshee. SO I NEVER BRING MY DRINK CUP INTO THE PARK. I recently went to both SF:SL and GAm and I found that ALL coasters had a spot to put your drink cups even if other luggage wasn't allowed which was absolutely awesome! I just wish they did that as well...

Watching in 2020, realizing it's the third tallest behind Diamondback and the largest one, Orion.

I sense a Banshee vs Afterburn coaster fight in the future.

Do it. You can ride everything around you by going to a different park every other weekend or so. Sure it might be a 12hr drive for the ones far away but its still like a weekend trip

Just rode it for the first time yesterday. Took the cake for me for the best inverted (CP is my home park). It was super smooth, insane G forces and that roll at the end is fantastic. It really felt like a complete ride.

I'm going to kings Island for the first time on Sunday and this is probably one of the ones i want to ride the most!

Banshee is my second fav roller coaster. My friend thought the restraints were comfortable. I liked the restraints but it was a little tight around the chest. Good thing that there is no head banging. Inverions were amazing too!

They do add some additional theming during HAUNT. There is a fog machine at the bottom of the second drop into the valley.

This is my #1 inverted coaster. It may not be the most intense in terms of gforces, but I can only ride this a couple of times in a row before I have to take a break.

This is the smoothest ride I've ever ridden maverick is second

+CoasterGeek1216 it's all opinion now and so much about the unnecessary things. Still good, but key points like sensation of speed are now completely forgotten. Still though great invert but Katun is still #1.

Bansheee is my number 1 and most favorite b&m inverted roller coaster!

Ive rode Raptor at Cedar Point many times (100+) as its my home park- finally made a trip to Kings island this year and holy SH1t - Banshee is a banger, a whole nother level. Great ride. Once it starts- it doesnt let up

Out of the 4 B&M inverts I've ridden (Batman, Raptor, Patriot, and Banshee), Banshee absolutely takes the cake.

5:47 XD Thanks for the suggestion... also you commented on how you didn't ride escape from pompii cause of your things getting wet. However, take some zip lock bags along and put them in those bags. It keeps you from having to put things in your locker and keeps ur stuff dry...

Banshee is a great ride. At the moment, my 9 year old daughter ranks this as her favorite coaster. She had to get used to the vest restraints, but there’s three coasters in Ohio that use them. She prefers them now to the typical over the shoulders used on other B&M’s. I’d rank this as my favorite B&M Invert. The final roll on Banshee is my favorite inversion on it, followed by the clothoid around the lift hill. I look forward to a few night rides on Banshee during the Haunt this fall.

I was there yesterday and rode Babshee 7 times. It’s my new favorite there now that Vortex is gone

I rode Banshee yesterday at kings island opening day. I got first train of the day btw. Any row that isnt in the front half of the train has an insane rattle and is actually kind of rough. I have had bad rides early in the season on this before but it was rough / very rattly. It is my favorite invert because of its layout. You can literally hear when the train start shaking at the bottom of each drop. I hope the maintaince team figures out a way to fix this since Banshee is still very young. I rode this 6 times this weekend so I know it wasn't just a bad train.

i love this ride. i just rode it during the haunt. i did a cool video about it and my experience on it. and i rode it after not riding a coaster in 25 years. i got some great footage. up close and it was a blue sky perfect day.

I'm nine and i rode this twice and i didnt cry! even though its better than meanstreak! yes i rode meanstreak and it was scary! nothing like beast! btw i luv ur vids coaster studios! i subbed! u deserve 1,000,000 subs!

What camera do you use for your footage?

My two favorite parts of this coaster is that it lacks a mid-course brake run (unprecedented for its length), and it hits its max speed halfway through its layout (the dive into the valley after the zero g roll). The design is just graceful as hell and so different from other inverted coasters.

You have a lot more trust in people than I do, I would never feel comfortable leaving my stuff in the bushes

This is a fun ride! It only rattled a little bit when I rode it, but I personally don’t like the vest restraints.

Banshee is fun but the rattle is more noticeable to me in the pretzel loop area toward the end of the ride

All my years of having phobias of heights, this was the fastest roller coaster I've ever been on! I had my eyes open, during the whole ride!! I will go back next summer, and NOW!! I AM READY FOR GATEKEEPER, MAGNUM, MAVERICK AND THE RAPT NOW!!

Cool review on Banshee Coaster! Looks better than Afterburner from Carowinds based on the look and layout. I look to visit KI in 2020 for “Orion” and definitely while ride “Banshee!”

Valravn at Ceder Point is the only Dive coaster to have the wingrider restraints

I was nervous riding this and that felling came back while I was watching this

I find that the b and m wing rider restraints crush my hips, mainly on gatekeeper at cedar point.

When will there be a review of the new ride called mystic timbers

To clear that up: A "B&M rattle" doesn't come from the track like the jerkiness of an old Arrow or Togo coaster. It comes from the tires. So if there are fresh tires on the train, you won't get a lot of rattle. Older tires might rattle (depends on the g-forces and stuff like that). These tires get replaced at some frequency, so a coaster that might rattle after 3-4 years, then get new tires before the new season and stop to rattle.

I believe you also have to buy a locker for firehawk?

+Coaster Studios We tend to get lots of guests on Saturday since it's the weekend and all. Overcast days and Thursday's tend to be the lightest. Also there is an all day locker system with keypad so you can return to it during the day if you wish.

I think it's great that Kings Island is close enough to my home town that you can leave at sunrise, and get there when they open, and stay until they close, and get back the same day. Also consider that the prices are pretty good for what you get, and the park is of the right size, where it has good thrill rides, but doesn't have too ridiculously long of lines. So you get to ride some world class B&M coasters a good 5-7 ish times at the park, without having to buy a fast pass. And lucky for me, it's my home park.

4:37 that’s actually a pretzel knot. Pretzel loops are exclusive to b&m flyers. Pretzel knots are different like this and the one on moonsault scramble

The rattle on banshee is due to the slight wear on the wheels it runs some as butter in may.

I rode this today and it has a rattle now 😭 but it is still the second best ride at kings island next to mystic timbers

I love banshee it is a very smooth very fast awesome roller coaster I love the Banshee scream at the top of the lift Hill love the zero-g roll at the end of the ride the theming was nice the trains were comfortable the ride was comfortable highly recommended Banshee was awesome

My favorite inverted coaster, based on aesthetics alone, is Alpengeist...I'm old school

B&M needs to start making forceful coasters again with good pacing. All their newer rides crawl through the inversions.

My Favorite part of the ride is actually the part right after the first Zero G roll, when you pick up speed and fly down the hill into the Son of Beast territory.

7 years later and I've yet to really experience any noticeable rattle... Everyone says it's train dependent, but I've ridden this coaster for basically 8 seasons and never had any serious issue worth complaining about.
