Whether or not he does or doesn't use trackers, he still joins runs tracked through methods that violate TOS (section 9) knowingly. Quite akin to accepting duped decas knowingly, no? Although normalized by tracking discords and rwt/duping discords, knowingly accepting dupes or going to tracked location suddenly makes the player affiliated with a TOS violation. No big deal here though, as it's also against TOS to install/use games under Deca's ownership under age 16, and frankly, that term is violated more often than not. What doesn't sit right with me is how 4Lorne has intentionally pvped sancs, and even encourages guildies or viewers to do the same in that run. You're entirely correct that coin counter is a part of the game, as are weaken counter, knives counter, guard counter(s), and orb counters, or else they wouldn't have been coded into the game, but they're not in the game to be activated every run; they're meant to provide extra challenge in requiring player awareness and encourage player coordination, and they were probably interesting mechanics for players to first discover, although it has quickly grown old. The only defendable counter here is luec, since players can take it into their own hands to shoot orbs if they don't want a counter. Gems/o3/dammah counters are all known by this point, and require players to shoot at a target, even with a visual queue, players in chat begging not to cause counters, and rls screaming in your ears when to shoot, when not to shoot, what to shoot, and where to shoot it, to trigger a counter. It's not a mistake at this point and players who do trigger counters do so knowing full well what they are doing by and how it could cause other players to die on characters they have invested time or money into or force them to nexus from a highly anticipated run. That aside, I'm not sure what else he did, but I do think a ban is excessive for purposely triggering counters (using in game features in unintended ways and occasionally encouraging it), some of which can be activated by a single person. tl;dr 4Lorne intentionally and knowingly activated counters, and encouraged others to do so as well, but he should've gotten off with just a warning.

Here's your problem with your intentional activation of counters point.... what if this was a "public" O3 run? I 100% guarantee there is no one that will be banned for purposefully activating a counter during these public runs with "random" people. Why should discord runs suddenly be exempt from this rule and are suddenly considered a "higher" tier of O3 run? There is absolutely no difference between these two types of runs because DECA themselves have stated that the realm is PUBLIC. I can agree that intentional griefing is bad when people blatantly and purposefully drag things in key popped LH, shatters, etc, but this griefing does not and should not apply to anything related in the realm, including O3. Now, you can argue all you want that whoever pops the runes decides what happens in that run, but again, DECA themselves have already proven that you cannot use this argument. The funny thing is, with this ban, DECA completely contradict themselves (I'm assuming to cater to these discord groups because generally these players are the highest paying on average). As this video tries to convey, the DECA ToS is completely vague and their enforcement of it is contradictory. If they do not want people to grief, then they seriously need to re-evaluate why they coded counters into the game and what effects these counters can have against players.... instead of banning and punishing players who are using IN-GAME mechanics to troll.

@@nluu8132 While this might be applicable to normal players, for content creators, especially larger ones (all relative to a smaller youtube/twitch audience) receiving hundreds of views, they should expect to be and will be held to a higher degree of accountability for their actions. Not only has 4Lorne intentionally triggered counters, he has encouraged his viewers to do the same. And Deca has already addressed the problem with runes and public runs and is working to fix it. No single dungeon has received so much feedback from the community or has had so many events to the point that a significant percentage of it's uptime has been during an event. Also, discords are not "exempt" from any of the "rules" or claims you make. Discords require you to be in vc, and you can get banned or suspended from a discord for a long list of reasons, including but not limited to: fake reacts, not being in vc, not listening to rl, leeching, ntentional counters, especially in vets or more exclusive runs where you are held to a higher degree of responsibility, etc.

@@glgl3379 Just because someone is making content and has an audience does not suddenly make them someone who has to act like a saint. EVERYONE, no matter who you have influence over, should be held accountable to the same rules and expectations. The ToS applies to all, and should not in any case be biased towards one person or another. If we were to go off of this, then everyone in the stream who participated in intentionally griefing is also complicit and thus should be banned. Where do you draw the line as to who gets banned or not? Do you see how DECA is clearly biased when certain people get banned for one thing but other people are not banned for the same exact thing. As for my point about discords being exempt from this rule, you totally missed the my part where O3 discord runs are, implied by DECA themselves, essentially the same as a public run. There is no bazaar popping kick feature. It does not matter how exclusive or how high reqs are needed to join these runs, because in the end, it is a public run. Setting precedent by banning a streamer for "griefing" an O3 run by triggering counters is like banning someone for intentionally buffing ents and liches to kill new players. If it is part of the game, and has no specific feature to alleviate it (such as key kicking people from baz runs), there is no context in which someone should be banned for it.

Bruh he literally had crashing private O3 runs in his stream title. Something you have said is needed for the game is smaller runs not lead by discord groups such as the ones he was crashing. He was also toxic when asked to leave said private run and when he hosted his own private runs and they were crashed he would have a cry. Another thing was they were actively trying to parse members out through PVP miasma, shooting bosses and over damaging causing counters etc. Sadly this is well deserved

The fact you defend someone who behind the scenes is toxic asf makes me sad for you to see how hard you get played. @@Levitate420 He openly has crashing in his twitch title. And his followers (viewers) were intentionally causing PVP miasma and also hitting counters. As a streamer he should and has to let his followers know to be respectful to those popping the rune and what they want out of the run. A lot of smaller servers or private running servers who don’t abide by the traditional discord mentality buy runes and it becomes a waste when someone like this comes in and ruins it.

I've already said this on reddit, but heres what i said as a 5 month sub of 4lorne I can say that he did screw up and make some mistakes, but people are taking it way too seriously. He had 150 viewers on his stream yesterday, while the average is like 50, and a lot of people were insulting him and stuff. Can understand why he's disliked by the community bc of him crashing, but he proved on stream that he's never tracked before, it's his viewers that track. I forgot to add this, but his ban reason was for using 3rd party services to track people, although it was his viewers who tracked. People want him banned probably because he crashes realms and ruins runs, but crashing realms doesn't violate the TOS, because realms are public.

Concretely it does not change the fact that he has benefited several times in all knowledge of causes from people using 3rd party services to track people. I don't understand how one can defend with any consensus such irresponsibility on the part of a streamer. It is an aberration that a part of the playerbase is more affected by the ban of a streamer than by the behavior that this same streamer instills to the community.

Completely agree about the whole public realms thing I hate when people yell at me to leave because their trying to do o3 and the realm is public like I would leave if someone popped a key and they told me to because they spent money on it but in the realm... that’s public ( and it’s even worse when me and my friends clear a realm and then we’re told to leave)

FireRye But you wouldn’t stay in the realm if there wasn’t an O3. You’re staying in the realm willingly because others are popping runes for their own group, you should respect that. You would understand if you did guild or small group O3s, but I’m guessing you’ve only ever done them public with a 60+ group, so it’s hard for you to understand.

Even if he himself doesn't track people, he's still a public figure and a streamer and he's abusing other people that track for him to crash runs. Saying it's not his fault because he abused his viewers is just disingenuous and a lacking argument to avoid consequences.

Deca has already stated that hitting counters by itself is not bannable. Counters exist to add skill to runs. Here's the problem: Joining an o3 run that other players work hard to secure, are paying for runes, and then intentionally shooting counters that the group you're going is trying to avoid is straight up griefing.

This guy really wants me to go on an alt account, say that im just there bc i was server hopping, and then hit every o3 counter just to say "whoops, sorry im bad at the game" with full o3 whites.

You say that it's difficult to stalk or harass someone in game, but it's very easy to track someone all day and shoot every counter. Personally, getting followed around for the first 12 hours of the runes event by the same person trying to shoot every o3 counter should count as stalking, harassing, or griefing (That has nothing to do with llama btw, it's more of a "stalking is definitely a problem in this game" thing). It completely ruins my game experience to get followed around by people to every realm, and I will always hate llama for publicly announcing that there was a tracker that could track individual people. clips.twitch.tv/IronicModernLapwingBloodTrail ^He went into way too much detail about the tracker, and should know better than to publicly announce it in a stream. Even if he didn't link it directly, saying the name of the server and what it does could already be considered advertising the server. If he was banned for that, then it's the same situation as you. You could claim that you were trying to raise awareness to an issue, however there's a deeper issue of you enabling the ent sitting (or in this case tracking) to happen before it's fixed. Another thing about Llama is that you can't automatically assume that he's telling you everything. He was banned for a reason, just because he says he doesn't know why doesn't mean it's automatically DECAs fault that he was banned. DECA support hopefully will withhold information to protect the people who reported him, which would make a lot of sense if the report was for **harassment or griefing**.... If Llama has harrassing multiple people, you're not going to reveal exactly which one reported him because that would definitely cause revenge from his hive-mind viewers, or personal revenge in general.

You also can't just say "omg that proof is fake" because other people1!1!! Also who are "you guys"? I'm the only one talking here. Unless you're referring to Llama's conspiracy theory on SBC mass reporting, which he accidentally proved didn't exist, on stream, I don't recall grouping myself with any other people here. I don't know about any other streamers, because in general I only watch streamers who aren't complete assholes. First point, Spencer outright says he discourages tracking, and harassing players. Second point, he's just stating the facts about realmspy, any twitch streamer who gets tracked all the time will know this information. He's not promoting it and even says that he won't provide any links, he had no emotion in his voice when describing it either. It's like stating history; "Adolf Hitler was a German politician and leader of the Nazi Party He rose to power as the chancellor of Germany in 1933 and then as Führer in 1934." It's simply information, yet nothing about it promotes anything about Hitler, and we all know Hitler was a horrible person. As for Ent Sitting, he was in fact raising awareness of the issue, it was a problem that had existed for a long long time, people use god exploits or oreo and sitting on avatars while calling, etc. It was a really well-known issue that could be fixed with nothing more than a .Teleported event and a function to give the Invulnerable, Silenced, and Stunned status effects. Effectively 3 lines of back-end code that Kabam simply did not implement for years, an issue that at the very least Deca fixed. Lastly, while it's true that Llama could be lying, it's still important to give players information on their ban so at the very least they can find out what went wrong and that they shouldn't be doing it. Deca isn't withholding information to protect people who reported him, You can easily state what they were banned for while dodging who reported him. If he was banned for tracking, then the words "Banned for: Tracking", is all that is really required. If he was banned for griefing, they could at least specify whether it was for dragging, activating counters, etc. Spencer never stated it was Deca's fault for banning Llama, he just stated several possible reasons why he was banned, and ruled out all of the ones that seemed ridiculous.

Nobody knew that you could even track **specific players**. He could have easily just ignored the person, or said "its a tracking discord", he never had to explain it in detail. @@harryni5535 the issue is not that they happen to be in a realm that also happens to be hosting an oryx 3 run. most organized runners will wait after o2 dies, not telling the players that they are hosting a run as they will leave and they can run privately. this 'realms are public' clause fails to make any sense when the people who are crashing are using tracker bots and inventory-see hacks to follow people around and join oryx 3 runs that they weren't invited to.

The banning system really needs to be revised. Also the griefing bans usually aren't permanent, Deca could save themselves so much time by saying "you were banned for X you'll be unbanned in 14 days." Judging by the clips of Llama talking about tracking Lana Del Ray, (the guild) he really had it coming. It's one thing to track a player by yourself, it's another thing to do it on stream and in a sense advertise that approach to playing the game. If he played up ignorance to how the O3 realms were being found he'd be fine, but instead he mocked the people in the runs he was "crashing." So yeah, not totally fair. The simple fact is that streamers or discord leaders have to live up to a higher standard of integrity because everyone is watching them. The tracking bots suck, the runes suck, idk how to fix either necessarily. The runes are easier to address for sure tho. Edit: I assume Llama's ban is temporary, no way someone should get perma'd for this.

@@XerosOfficial If you were a streamer and your friend tells you he duped 50 decas, and you publicly (on stream) get those 50 decas traded to you that is considered rule breaking. He knowingly abused trackers whether he was directly tracking people or not. This is like saying the people using the tracking discord are not at fault because it's the bots tracking people and telling them. Llama was just using an extra person inbetween

I actually opened an o3 for some people when he and some other streamers showed up from people that WERE tracking, in defense of deca they can't tell who and who isn't tracking, especially when the streamer wasn't a deca partner they have no reason to give them more slack room. Deca needs to update their TOS and their entire ban process as a whole though.

I'm pretty sure llama/4lorne intentionally griefed in o3 and pissed a bunch of people off and got reported for it. It probably wasn't deserved since the line of griefing and not griefing is very vague, but shooting o3 and intentionally causing counters isn't the greatest thing to do. Spencer's ban was kind of deserved since he was helping with griefing even if he was trying to raise awareness of the issue, but in my opinion it shouldn't have been permanent and I'm glad it wasn't. I do agree that Deca needs to make the responses to "griefing" bans more specific since griefing in RotMG comes in many shapes or forms and is hard to identify, unlike other bans such as cheating/hacking which are very straightforward.

I've watched Lorne for a while now and this is just ridiculous. Deca isn't doing shit about players constantly messaging perverted stuff, racial slurs, etc.. Deca isn't doing shit against spam bots that have existed for an eternity by now. I think the act of him getting banned might have been the following: Lorne soloed O3 once, and he had to get rid of the group to do that, therefor he did not attack the orbs in the Leucoryx fight and made the battle more difficult, which would get players to leave. So making the battle harder is punishable? I mean Deca probably has good intentions and all, but if they really want players to have a smooth, "non-griefable" experience, then why the fuck do they add things like Dammahs "Do not interrupt me..." or the counters in general, especially if they know that their community is not the most well-behaving?

That's a feature, if that's an aspect of the game you shouldn't be banned for it, they need to fix their game and only give out bans to egregious violations

Honestly whether or not people agree with this ban I think it really brings to light how fucked Deca's view on the ToS is and how they can kind of do whatever the fuck they want because everything is so vague

I was banned for no reason out of no where I spent at least 300 deca don’t care or say anything

I remember that back in the day i posted a post on reddit how i got 3 whites of every kind that was avilible during event (wlab waki, bow and shaitans waki) and i posted screenshot of it from the character select screen where you can see your inv and you backpack one above the other so i got banned on reddit for having a hacked client that allowed me to see inv and backpack at the same time in game that shows how little do deca moderators accualy know about the game that they are moderating

You could say I'm pretty "torn" on this situation because he seems like a pretty cool dude, although I completely disrespect what he has been doing. Although a team game I think everyone can find death's ingame and people getting mad over certain things very funny,but what he has been doing is worse. He has been specifically greifing private runs even when asked respectfully to leave. I don't know if he has personal issues with a player/players in these private runs but that gives him no right to use hacks which are specifically against the TOS (tracking players). I hope he can learn from his past mistakes and I even hope he can redeem himself and show deca that he can be a good representative of the game, because I believe he can be. Thanks for reading this long message no hate to people on either side of this discussion.

I'd like to clear some things up here: CRASHING = immoral, but not against TOS explicitly TRACKING = use of third party software, against TOS and bannable Llama claims that he only CRASHES, and doesn't TRACK. However, his viewers and guildies, who were feeding him locations to CRASH, were themselves TRACKING. If we're to be pedantic about it, he's correct. But in actuality, they're the exact same thing. His ban is fully justified given his actions.

Although he is in the Realmspy discord, he proved in his stream yesterday where he browses through his DMS with Realmspy and his messages in the discord. He has no DMs with realmspy, and all of his messages in the discord are all casual where he just memes around. Can't say the same about his viewers though.

That’s why you do a “parse” and if your good enough you will survive it ex) don’t shoot orbs in leu, make as many swords as possible in dammah, shoot the wrong coin and don’t decoy, you can’t really screw up beisa so you’ll just have to hope for a dif boss. @@mobu3550 when everyone in a run is 4/4 dps and you have 15 of them 5 people are not going to make a difference and if it truly matters just put on bad gear to make it seem less real... the easiest way to identify a run is to look at their gear. In fact that’s the first thing I do when I load into oryx

Bro, eligibility for mid-roll ads and extra favoritism from the KZread algorithm was changed from 10 minutes to 8 minutes on July 29th of this year.

All smart ppl playing only pservers, most of them has much more content and uniq features then classic rotmg. As fan fact, they are not pay to win.

Yep it's a known fact that 4lorne has been griefing EVERY single oryx 3 discord except sanctuary. Hes been a piece of shit the entire time and he knows that, he needs to reform and come back . Even if he wasn't intentionally griefing, he said multiple times on stream, "give me x loc so I can annoy them". x being a o3 discord server , private or public. I understand a lot of people are very toxic to him but at the same time it doesn't make him any less of a culprit. Spenca just hates discords so he obviously instantly sides with 4lorne regardless of proof. He will never take a discords side as he is heavily biased.
