Good stuff! getting late so I'll watch second half tomorrow. For the AA vs. your shove....I usually say something along the lines of, "That's a tough fold, but I've had to do it before too" Doesn't really give away the hand, and it is true.

Love watching your progression, going back through your older content now. How on EARTH do you record so low down on the table yet still remember all of the action on the table??! that's a lot of hands to document. What's the secret? :)

Gotta take notes right away and record your thoughts! Have a good note taking app or poker hand recording app ready. I know some people do a voice memo right away (away from the table) after an interesting hand. Sometimes it can make the session less fun because you aren't able to purely focus on playing poker.

Great vlog, Keevin - definitely in KZread's top tier for low stakes. How do you determine your preflop raise sizes - the amounts seem to bounce around? Thanks!

Aw thanks! Good question. It depends on the number of limpers (amount of dead money) as well as position. It's never dependent on hand strength (something I would recommend anyone to avoid).

Hey Keevin, in the first hand, do you think it would be a good idea to show the hand, than your opponents can give the image of a loose player and they will play against you with a larger range. Thank you Enjoying your videos.

Showing bluffs is a very valid strategy to generate action. Here are my thoughts on that though. I think it's always easier to project/build a loose image. You can do that anytime. It's always more difficult to establish a tight image. So having a perceived tight image is, in a sense, more valuable. Ultimately, it depends on your game plan for the session. Early in the session, if the table is tight, I would still want more of my bluffs to get through. It's always game dependent though.

How was it playing in Coquitlam? Are the 1/3 games soft there?

From my experience I think all the 1/3 games in greater Vancouver are pretty similar. Cascades Langley has a bit more action. In Coquitlam, I like the water/coffee station being close and some tables have cup holders on the table.

@@KeevinPokerVlog Thanks. I gave Coquitlam a try tonight and it felt very reg heavy and the room could barely fill 3 tables of 1/3. I'll check out cascades in the upcoming days. :)

@@KeevinPokerVlog besides the ban isn’t it the better place ? Cascades is action but sometimes hard to win when your 3bet gets called 4 ways and 73off gets there… only played villa 2/5 a couple times it’s more striaght forward poker any opinion?

If your 3 bets are getting called by 73 off that's probably a sign of a good game. I'd want to keep playing in that if I could =). I loved Villa for the 2/5 and 5/10 but I haven't been there in a while. They moved back upstairs and I've heard mixed things about that. Hard Rock (now Great Canadian) 2/5 usually runs on weekends but breaks pretty early.
