She’s her baby shark

I'm 60 years old and was born and live in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. It amazes me to see and hear a young lady living in California play clawhammer banjo. I've loved that sound all my life. It was born here. When he was young, my Papaw Fred played clawhammer in a popular local band called The Tobacco Tags. My Dad has a cherished B&W photo of the group. Papaw Fred often referred to clawhammer as "frailing". He played until arthritis and a workplace injury involving an anvil and his left hand affected his ability. I'm also pleased and inspired to see a young lady growing up in our current world who seems so genuine in her own likes, values, and sensibility. In a day where superficiality and shallow people own the media and have influence, here's a refreshing young person with common sense, dignity, and smiling happiness who seems to think for herself instead of following the crowd. And she's learning to cook too! Great job young lady!

Somehow "Egg Salad Special" just doesn't ring quite the same as "Orange Blossom Special," but you make everything special, Phoebe. My Mom is surely listening from the great beyond and having been a North Carolina mountain girl, she's loving it!

I bought 2lbs of Potato Salad with Mustard and Chopped Eggs. Got it because it always reminds me of Mom on Mother's Day. 🙏😘

Technically, with the giant shark, this qualifies as a Mother's Day Extravaganza. Jus' sayin'
