Bangladesh's Catastrophic Water Problem
Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable countries to the threats of climate change. It faces a water catastrophe that threatens its existence. It already suffers from severe flooding almost every year due to its many rivers and the monsoon rains. But this could get even worse in the future with the effects of global warming and sea level rise. Want to know how? Watch the video to find out.

You have used the wrong topographic map of Bangladesh in thumbnail . It only has small mountain ranges in South eastern chattogram district and besides that it's completely a Basin which is called the Bengal Basin.
Despite the water crisis, Bangladesh must be one of the friendliest places ever. Imagine 160 million people who like each other so much that they choose to live together in such a difficult land. 🙂
Excellent video, as a Bangladeshi I agree. During Summer and Monsoon we face the problem of having too much water.
Been binge watching your videos. Your content is amazing.👍 I have been to Bangladesh once, the people are amazing there.

3:34 I think the Ganga and Surma basins are swapped here. There is no way the ganges (which flows through central india) somehow drains from the Myanmar highlands into bangladesh. The ganges is the river that flows through Calcutta, not the Surma

Bangladesh is 140,000 square kilometers, not 140 million. The entire surface area of the earth is approximately 150 million square kilometers.

@peterelliott3776 Genghis Khan's future son will be born in Bangladesh. He will conquer the world's 140 million km sq land. Welcome to the world's future superpower. The one and only dominant super world power.
Climate refugees from BD to India and Myanmar?? Are you serious??? Where did you get that? 8:20
As a Bengali, I already know that we are doomed after 1971
Dude u got it wrong ? Bangladesh 🇧🇩 total area is now 269,000 sq km, Land area 150,000 sq km & Nautical Mile area is 118,000:sq km. population 141 million people, not 165 or 180 million. By the way Bangladesh 🇧🇩 has 79% of alluvial low land & 21% of mountainous & forests 🌳
