✅ BANGKOK'S OTHER SIDE | Where Youtubers Never Go | Riverside Walking Tour | Our Undiscovered City ✅

Ойын-сауық

Across the river from Talat Noi & Chinatown is an unexplored world, lovely streets, friendly locals and see some real Bangkok life! A real place where tourists don't go to, with best street food market nobody knows about. Walk the back sois, alleys, see the old srchitecture, hidden parks, museums and learn some interesting history too. Forget those KZread videos claiming that they go to ''Where tourists never go" because this area is exactly one of those places "Where KZreadrs never go"

Good Morning Vietnam (1987) was partly filmed directly across the river, in narrow alleys on the Thonburi side -- and also in Chiangmai. The female star was a Thai dressed in an Aow Dzai. Vietnam was considered too undeveloped to accommodate Hollywood in 1986. 'The Lover' was the first post-reunification (1975) film to be shot in Vietnam (1991).

If you look at regular travel vloggers Bangkok is just a bunch of malls, some markets and some tourist stuff and a chinatown. Everyone on youtube films the same things over and over. We who live in and love Krungthep love the history, all the streets no vlogger ever visits and all the hidden history and secrets

Bangkok Pat drops another banger. While it's difficult to ruin a shot of any Bangkok backdrop, he manages to capture & curate each frame meticulously -- with historical imagery alongside splashes of colour & modern mahem. IMO this video takes you back in time while offering a beautiful contrast of an optimistic future in this beloved city 😺

Majority of people not just KZreadrs stick to the standard formula tried and test, they rarely if ever go off the beaten path, no risk required. Love your style Pat you go knee deep into the abyss, exploring the darkside of things so to speak where few ever dare venture for several reason, one being human nature which programs us to stay safe and be when we are comfortable, these people are not the trailblazers and inventors. Great Video

Fear of the unknown, it's a big step to stray out of the comfort zone of a 'proven' formula. For them the city of Bangkok is an overwhelming and big chaotic metrolpolis.....where do you start???

Totally fascinating Pat. So well researched and presented. Amazing that so close in to the centre of the modern Bangkok, are such historical old places such as the old Tha Din Daeng Port. Got to wonder what will happen to those places. I have an upcoming client who's family relates to that area (you mentioned their name in your film). Will be very interesting to meet them. A friend lives in the Supalai Premier Charoen Nakhon by the BTS Khlong San. I've forwarded your video to him.
