BangerRacing Gone Gang at Hednesford 1994
This is one of the first Banger Race videos that I made, way back in 1993. There was a good Racetrack at Crewe which was previously the home of the Crewe Kings Speedway team. I’m not quite sure why but the Speedway bubble burst and the Banger Racing came along.
A lot of the local lads formed a group of racers and they became known as the Gone Gang. As well as the Crewe raceway they appeared at many others, High Edge, Hednesford, Birmingham, Stoke on Trent and even Wimbledon.
I will be going through all of my old VHS tapes to sort out some decent footage from as many of those venues as I can.

its because, of this sport, many cars have become rare.

One or two A60s, couple of Datsuns, a Toyota Carina(?) and a Lada.
