With two high-end wireless soundbars that pack a hefty punch each, a quick feature comparison can be pretty helpful to help you decide which one to pick, and to know which one caters to your individual needs and preferences.
Watch this video where we’re doing a feature comparison between Bang & Olufsen Beosound Stage and the Devialet Dione, high-end wireless soundbars for home entertainment.
Both the models have a huge array of benefits to offer.
Let's begin by discussing the sound characteristics of the soundbars. Eleven drivers are integrated into the Beosound Stage. Eleven separate amplifiers power each of these, providing a combined output of 550W and a maximum SPL of 100dB.
On the other hand, the Devialet Dione integrates 17 custom-designed neodymium drivers. All of these are driven by a total of 950W RMS of amplification to deliver a max SPL of 101dB. Thanks to a higher driver count and more power, the Devialet Dione offers better performance especially in large spaces.
Both soundbars incorporate Dolby Atmos for surround sound. But the Devialet Dione has a 5.1.2 channel output, while the Beosound Stage has a 3-channel surround system. The Dione also boasts Devialte's SPACETM technology, which leads the industry in immersive surround sound by upscales any mono or stereo data into a 5.1.2 signal.
Each soundbar's smartphone app, which is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, provides access to a range of sound presets. Both of the soundbars have HDMI with eARC support for wired connectivity. But whereas the Beosound Stage has a 3.5mm jack input, the Devialet Dione incorporates an optical Toslink input.
Both the soundbars integrate ethernet LAN port and WiFi for internet connectivity along with Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and more. Once again, the Devialter Dione takes the leads by supporting a newer Bluetooth 5.0 codec.
The Devialet Dione also integrates 4 calibration microphones to establish an accurate acoustic model of your room and tune the sonic output accordingly.
While both the soundbars have their strengths, the Devialte Dione takes the lead in terms of the sonic experience, more immersive sound and the features it offers.

In terms of form factor, both the soundbars opt for a rectangular shape but the design approach is starkly different.
In order to create a delicate yet stylish look, Bang & Olufsen adheres to its traditional minimalist style, showcasing its Scandinavian roots by combining wood, aluminium, and a cloth cover. Devialet, a cutting-edge French company, adopts a little flamboyant design approach with its distinctive ORB centre channel speaker situated precisely in the heart of the soundbar.
