The Bang And Olufsen H9i over ear headphones are extremely comfortable and they sound great. The H9i's premium materials and elegant design are great for people who like the finer things in life. The ANC on the B&O Play H9i is also very good with minimal cabin pressure. But the battery life on the H9i is still a little below average when compared to the rest of the ANC headphones on the market.

Forgot to say A replaceable battery on headphones. And as of 2019 a firmware made headphones sound even better !!!!! And they selling for less than $400 definitely the BEST ONES to get.

Any chance we will see a review of the new 3rd gen H9 Beoplay? Or a vs H9i comparison. Looks like B&O has made some interesting changes in the 3rd gen.

What did you think of the treble at a high volume? In my opinion they are not worth the money due to that. The vocals are very sibilant in nature and hurt my ears quite bad, especially when the volume is above medium. They sound magnificent with darker toned songs though. The design is so damn good, I almost didn't want to return them after the week I had them. I'm sure B&O will update these, the question is wether they will improve the treble and stingy vocals.

Thom X2 I agree about the very sibilant nature of these headphones. I have the B&O P7 wireless and love the sound of them, I’m debating whether to send the B&O H9i back because I wanted them to be perfect for the price and the sound is the main thing.

for the volume control, I just wish they had volume controls like the beats solo/studio3, with B&O quality. I wish it was just a tactile button at the top, bottom, and middle of the current touch pad for skipping pausing and volume.

Hi, great video as always. I have the same headphones and I love them. Also, you can turn off the proximity sensor. You move the switch to the top position, you keep it there for 2 seconds, then - as soon as the blue light starts blinking - you double tap in the middle of the aluminium of the right side (so on the surface that you normally use to tap pause or play). Then the blue light turns red, which means the proximity sensor is off. If you do the same once again, it will turn green, which means the proximity sensor is on again. Also, can you please compare the sound and comfort of H9i to H8i? I cannot decide whether I should return mine to get a smaller pair with longer battery life.

I really love everything about H9i except one thing that almost no-one mentions and I'm very curious why... These are quiet. Max volume is really not enough for me, bose in compare are about 25-30% louder... that's why I am going to return them. 580$ - that's the price in Poland. Too much for a headphones that need some loudness booster software. Or maybe there is so other way around...? This is really huge thing for me since I use over-ear wireless headphones mostly for sports and they need to bang! I love everything about my new h9i except of that and im really torn apart if should return them. Is it really regular?

I use a 30-year-old pair of Sony MDR-V6 wired studio monitor headphones for recording music, and JBL Professional Monitor speakers for mixing and mastering; however, while I do appreciate their flat response of the V6s, I do experience ear pain after awhile. So my question is this: Using the 3.5mm cable (to avoid the latency lag of Bluetooth), can the h9i headphones competently replace the Sonys? Thanks! And great review!!

I think this is somehow personal preference , haven't heard xm3 yet, but xm2 sounded soo muddy for me and I didnt like them in comparison to al the internet gloryfing their supreme sound :D but their app and advanced equalizer is a tool that will give you a possibility to adjust the sound to perfection in your vision. But h9i also have nice eq and in terms of looks are just undisputed

Read the instructions. You hold the power button up for 2-3 seconds, the light turns blue, then you double tap on the right side, then the light turns red. That means it's off. When you do the same and the light turns green, it's on again.

Right now I'm leaning towards the PX cause of their sound stage, and just how deep the lows get but they aren't the most comfortable things in the world. Thinking about making a B&W vs B&O vs Sennheiser ANC Headphone video.

Just switch to these headphones from a 2 year Bose QC35 ll owner. I must say so far I'm quite impressed. I say the Bose wins for comfort for sure. Sound - H9i for sure. ANC - Bose but just slightly better. Head/ear fitment - Bose, although Bose is lighter the H9i feels lighter when wearing.

Then you should consider buying the B&O H6 gen 2. I recently bought the h9i's (already have the h6's) and in my opinion the sound quality + comfort is a bit better on the h6's (comfort because they are a little lighter, otherwise identical). With the h9i's cabled, I still like the h6's sound more. They just seem to sound more detailed to me. Thing to note, the h6's don't have NC, don't know if you really need that.

My worst buy ever ! I am presently returning my third set because they have broken down. They last for 12-14 months and then they it’s back to the factory for a warranty check and I get a new set... that works for another 12-14 months . Returning them is extremely difficult and time consuming, this time I must have spent something like 3 hours to fix a return. DO NOT BUY a set of B&O headphones

This headphone for just snob ones, there is nothing extra. All reviews all about how looks like it, quality matterial as aluminium, leather blablabla! No one can reviewing about this Headphone is just 24 ohm impedance, it should be 80, then we can talk about the quality! Bluetooth has a latency delaying 22 ms, touch control not work as charm, in 70% not work, thats so annoying. Headband cushion is hard matterial, so not comfortable to wearing for hours, earpad cushion is too thin, pressing ear, and make very incomfortbale, it should be thicker, to feel more comfortable,! Auto play/stop is a bullshit, sensor is totally not work well, sometimes stop when I wear it, start play when take it off. Sound quality is good, but thats all! This is a $150 headphone and stupid snobs ones - like me - fall in love in to this headphone because of kind of this review and willing to pay 3 times more what this headphone worth it. Crazy world with fool humans…idiots! Holon' You can not connect via BT for more than 2 device! (I have 4) All connection is losting, unusable. Jack-Jack cable is a joke!!! High qulaity? We talkinig about a $500 headphone…not mentioned about lack of volume as well! Don't buy it!!!! Don't buy it!!!!
