@@glabblele I dont have trumpets in my band, but we have 5 or 6 saxaphones. There is NO way a trumpet can be louder than our saxaphones though.

Im in percussion, and percussion literally just gets to chill and play on their laptops or phones while everyone else is doing fingerings and slide motions.

The one who plays too quiet is basically everyone in the band at my school.

Not in my band. We have 7 loud trumpets and 3 normal sounding Altos and 2 tenors, one loud. I just wish the trumpets weren't so loud

"The enemies" is me and someone from another school than me. My band director teaches multiple schools and she says the other flute player is behind while I'm ahead, that means I'm best flute player. (in my school of course)

the one who plays too loudly is the saxophone who sits DIRECTLY BEHIND ME. he never stops playing. even when my director is talking, he's blowing into his saxophone, "whispering" (as i like to call it) some notes. he's also really annoying and blames the flutes for not playing loud enough when the saxophones drown us out lol

In my band class, the trumpets (my group) and percussion have a weird rivalry and one of the trumpets tried to hit one of the percussionists with there instrument

I’m in orchestra, but me, first chair viola and second chair are like rivals and constantly argue about who’s better and stuff, so the “I bet you can’t because I’m first chair your not” is super relatable

Why does 0:30 and 0:36 almost match the respective sections perfectly? (Accurate for the trumpets, but instead of alto saxes, I’m talking about tenor saxes. There’s only two in my marching band.)

I was first chair on Clarinet before my teacher/band director forced me onto Oboe- So now I'm the only oboe, but still the best in the band-

The first thing I thought of when I saw the thumbnail was: "Look at all those chickens!" for some reason (any other Bari sax players here?)

At my school band everyone hates us Trumpets because we always get the melody and we play sorta loud. LIKE IM SORRY MY BUZZING IS LOUD, IF I PLAY QUIETER ILL PROBABLY NOT BE BUZZING AT ALL! Oh and the kid next to me always plays really loud and always wants the first part. It gets so annoying. -_-

0:22 Lol that is so me, but mostly when the other clarinetists don't play the right notes, when I mess up, or when they mess up (the other clarinetists mess up a LOT)!!

I can relate so much to the ones who play too loud, and too quiet. I am CURRENTLY an Alto Saxophone player and I sit by the loudest person in the band. And I can relate because we only have about 15 people, and 2 low brass people, they are way too quiet, surprisingly they are Trombones though, this is why I will be switching to Tuba.

omg i’m a high school flute and it annoys me soooo much when flutes aren’t taught to hold their flute level so that it’s not leaning down or to far up. our band director used to stick pencils in the end and if it fell out then you had to hold it higher. it’s also especially important during marching because if it is down you do not look as good. i understand that not everyone is at the same level as my high school but it is something that should be taught when you first start flute cause if you aren’t in the right position then you can’t play as well and it does not look good. sorry for going on this rant but it needs to be said lol

We have this trumpet player who’s EXTREMELY loud, so when he left, the trumpets became too quiet, so we say, play like a ______(the loud trumpet kid’s name).
