I believe he is one of a group of fans who followed BAND-MAID during their tour. I've seen him in other videos of the tour. BAND-MAID has some truly die hard fans. Understandably so. BAND-MAID is awesome!

Thank you! The audience is so essential. The raw emotion and energy that come from an audience are important elements of any concert experience, especially for the bands. It's so reassuring to have such powerful and positive reactions from an audience. The audience at BAND-MAID's Paradise showed so much love for the band. It was so beautiful and exciting to see and feel the joy of this audience. I'm certain it was for the band too.

Kanami is the most beautiful and talented woman in the world. And this is a FACT.

So warm-hearted and so fun.... and then they went back to rocking our faces off with more of the most brilliantly-composed and -performed songs in the history of popular music.

They surely do. The Paradise Rock Club is especially too small for them. The plus to such a small venue is the intimacy that is possible between the band and the fans. Bigger venues don't allow for much of that. So I'm grateful I got to experience their musical magic is a smaller venue.

It's amazing that this one gorgeous funny cute adorable little munchkin and beautiful talented visionary. Had a dream and saw it through and made it a reality. And many of us were on the journey with her !

Love Band Maid. Have been listening to 'em for about a year. Speak almost zero Japanese, but their music is just good ol' rock-n-roll. Akane is a beast on drums and Misa on bass. They're all amazing.

The show was awesome! The audience was incredible! I didn't think an American audience would be as emotional and as charged up as the audiences have been in Japan. I was wrong. This audience, I must admit, had me feeling moved. I can only imagine how the band felt about this audience. So much raw power and energy present that night.

I was there at the Boston gig! Too bad I didn't get to see the Maids up close because I was near the rear mixer guy 😅 Since I can't take any decent vid / photo, I just enjoyed my time there. Thanks for this vid, I can relive this moment in another angle! 😻

Got to make a late comment here. I'm watching this again, some three months or so later- This is the best 40 minutes of Band-Maid on a fan cam anywhere. Thanks again to John Caruso and the fantastic crowd in Boston on that night. Some of the people on the rail I now recognise from other shows on the tour. Just Fantastic.

That's awesome! I wish I had that one to share with you. My camera was acting weird while filming. It randomly stopped recording while zooming in and out. I tried to film Unleash!!!!!, but my camera wasn't having it. I do have audio of the entire show. I used my phone for that one. It came out alright for a phone recording. Would be cool to have official video and audio of this show. I would definitely buy them. BAND-MAID is has become a favorite of mine. They're a badass Rock 'n'' Roll band.

Just realizing Unleash!!!!! is in this. Around 28 minutes in. I'm relatively new to them, but I quickly became in awe of them. Still learning their songs. I'm glad the song and your dumbass voice are in this. 😋

Thank you for sharing this, John. I feel like I’ve been waiting for music like this for the past 20 years. I’m late to the party hearing them for the first time just a few days ago, but wow, it’s just so so special. I played various instruments for a decade and went nowhere with it, but maybe it was all training to help me understand Band-Maid better 😂

You're very welcome! I have a great amount of respect and appreciation for all musicians. It was important that I captured all of the members of BAND-MAID. I didn't want to just focus on certain members. Each one of them is special and important. I also felt it was important to capture the audience. The band and the audience together are the heart of the show.

Hey Tom! I know I of course have said it is whatever that Band Maid did not make their way down to FL, and I am cool with not seeing the maids live this year and just assuming that they will be back next year and I’ll catch them then. But shit man of course coming on here and seeing these videos every other day is making me very jealous! It doesn’t make it any better seeing the somewhat small venues and how close all the fans are to the band.

Thank you for your comments. The connection between BAND-MAID and their fans is so strong. I feel that with the Japanese fans when I watch the concerts filmed in Japan. There is something truly special about the bond they have with their fans. I haven't seen such a bond between other bands and their fans. When I view this video, I feel so moved by the fans. I was feeling it very deeply during the concert. I hope to experience that again.

Tellement c’est mon groupe préféré ! En plus leurs performance live est complètement insane.J’adore les 5 filles du groupe ! Si tu as la chance des les voir live je te le conseille, elle vont peu être annoncer une tournée américaine prochainement, si c’est le cas je crois que je vais encore y aller.

I've watched a bunch of clips the last few days. I think this is the best fan cam audio I've heard from this tour. I'm a long time audio engineer for a club about this size. This place sounds great.

I had tickets for this show, and then caught covid a few days before the show. I am devastated to have missed them!

I was on the balcony to the right near the corner and had a pretty good view of the show (not as good as yours, nice location). I was amazed at the energy of the group of fans in front thru the entire show and the overall band interaction with the crowd as that is what makes live special. Thanks for uploading. Peace

Boston was my 5th serving and my 1st time on the rail (center right) directly in front of Saiki. I'm wearing the white heart sunglasses (from Kate) next to the huge Dude in the white hoodie. I don't know if it was the best show but it's my personal favorite and the 1 that's burned into my Soul. I didn't pull my phone once during this whole show so, Thank You so much for this footage of some the very best memories of my life, that I will take with me to my grave.

They would sound phenomenal! They're one of the best sounding live bands I've heard in a long time. By the way, I filmed this with a compact Panasonic camera. Still a super tiny mic recorded the sound. Even though a tiny mic, BAND-MAID comes off sounding awesome! 🎤🔊😊

We were definitely lucky bastards. The Paradise is a legendary venue in Boston. It's a great venue. I do hope, as much as I like the intimacy of The Paradise, that BAND-MAID will perform in a nicer venue if they come to Boston again. The MGM at Fenway is a larger venue, but still intimate. It would be perfect for BAND-MAID.

I felt it was perfect for video because of the view I had of the audience and of the stage. I was inspired by both the band and the audience. Both were awesome! It was a fantastic night of music and great energy.

I'm fairly new to the group, so I'm still learning about them. I didn't realize how die hard fans are about them. A large group of fans followed then throughout their tour. That is love and devotion! I hope to see them again. I hope you will get to see them next time. Perhaps they will perform at the House of Blues or MGM Music Hall at Fenway the next time around. They deserve a bigger venue. The intimacy of the Paradise is awesome, though. I'm grateful to have been there. Thank you for your love and support of BAND-MAID!

If you use the Xtreme Download Manager plug in for Chrome or Mozilla (on PC & Linux), you can download the video. You'll need to install the app too. It works very well. You're lucky to have been in the front. I was one of the general admission folks, so I didn't have the best options. I was lucky to score the spot I got. It was a nice view of the band and the fans on the floor.

Mmm... welI I was there since 8 am. ( just arriving from NY concert on the amtrak train )😅😅🤟 my neck hurt a little from the NY concert and the bad sleep on the train. Im still have a neck cramp 🤣😭... but it was the best time of my life.

Thank you for noting the song. I'm fairly new to the band, so I'm still learning about them and their songs. I was quick to fall in love with them, though. They have this wonderful spell over their fans. I'm definitely under that spell of theirs.

@@happyjack71 An acoustic live version of "Catharsis" was on their official channel. That was for a limited time, so we don't have it now. But there are a lot of reaction videos, so it would be nice to watch them. By the way, this was a live show held online as a Christmas present for fans. The full version was illegally uploaded recently, but I don't know when it will be deleted.

Thanks for the bookmark. My first listen through Conqueror and Catharsis was my favorite right off the bat. It just has this awesome vibe to it.
