I think Kanami's most complicated or hardest to play song is H-G-K. She said it took her weeks to learn it after she wrote it. These 'white room' instrumentals each come in 5 versions. A full band version and one each focussing on each player. The individual versions focus on the playing so you can learn them, hence the close up on Kanami's guitar. There are tons of these type of video's on Band-Maid Prime also!

It's just crazy they were able to create vocals over the top of this.

Seeing Kanami shred up close during their last tour was life changing!

there was instument focus for each member because they want people to learn the song.. there is also a full band version were you see the 4 of them rocking out.. next time you listen to the vocal version of this you will notice you hear more after hearing the intrumental also

The birds on her fretboard are a distinctive thing with PRS guitars. It doesn't actually have anything to do with Miku's pigeon motif.

All their songs are instrumentally fascinating! Then you add Miku and Saiki's vocals, it's an entirely new song. Thx, BG!

I wasn't sure about this track at first but once I saw the instrumental video I was totally sold on it.

There is an individual video for each band member for this song. Akane is an absolute monster in hers. They are all brilliant. Please do the other three.

Glad you checked out the instrumental version - much easier to pick up what they are all playing. The video that cycles between each members camera and the whole band shots isnt on YT any more i dont think- tho there are some reactions to it with the full video in, without any pauses or talking over it.

This is one of five videos of "Giovanni." There is another one focused on MISA, one focused on Akane, one focused on Miku, and one with all four. You can see faces in that last one. Also, the bonus DVD with these instrumentals doesn't have the entire album; just four songs are done this way - "After Life," "No God," "Without Holding Back," and "Giovanni." That's twenty videos focused on what they are doing, so if you're nerdy about this band, it's gold.

These instrumentals caused me to go back and listen more closely to what was going on in the background of their other songs. Kanami is a fantastic composer and they are an awesome band.

In this case you selected the version where Kanami play her part but there is another with all the ladies and you can see her faces.

My phone kept messing up on the porch, so I'm back to rewatch it.

Cool reaction, sir. I believe HGK was quite the challenge for Mincho. I don't know if there is a video showing solely Kanami's part. If so, check it out.

There are other angles from these instrumental videos that show their faces. You just happened to choose the angle that focuses on their hands and their instruments. It's about seeing what they are playing and how. I think we all know it's actually her playing after all. 😀

Looks like Giovanni is the protagonist of an old animé Night on the Galactic Railroad. It must have sentimental value to Kanami?

She has to take a few quick breaks in this song, lest her guitar burst into flames!

I was expecting the whole band version so you could see Misa doing her thing, Akane foot cam and Miku jumping around

I think H-G-K, yes, the one you scored 10/10 is probably more complicated. I don't know if it has an instrumental version, but when I saw someone covered it, I was totally shocked🤯 Her song writing skill is incredible.

When you're outside... the sound quality of the video you are reacting too is poor. Very treble-y and no bass. Sounds like an AM radio. I prefer your reactions in your "studio". Sound quality of the song is so much better there.

There is actually a Miku and an Akane focus playthrough, as well as a full band playthrough where you see all their faces. Can't find a Misa one.

It's on the bonus DVD/ blue ray with the deluxe version.

Unseen world is a progressive heavy metal album at it’s core. Saiki’s and Miku’s vocals cover some of the detail. I think Kanami does this purposely. You should listen to the I still seek revenge instrumental. It’s brutal!
