Bueno, vamos alla. Gracias por la reacción. La Mejor Banda de Rock, o lo que sea del Mundo. Lo que sea viene porque le dan a todo (rock, speed, metal, punk, funk, jazz, pop, rap, etc) y muchas veces en la misma canción. No tienen rival en el universo. Un hecho cientifico es que en directo son superiores siempre, SIEM - PRE, a sus videos. Se meten de 22 a 25 canciones en un ejercicio de demolición musical que deja en estado de shock a la audiencia. Si he de recomendar una canción...te digo que no. Los fans en este punto nos reimos porque sabemos que esta respuesta es inesperada. Elije una y a flipar, da igual si es Official Live Video o la camara de un fan o un video musical. Lo tocan todo y son apabullantes en el escenario incluso si es una balada acustica. Honestamente, no tienes ni idea de lo que acabas de encontrar. Son el Santo Grial del Rock y si no se lo preguntas a Jimmy Page de Led Zeppelin al que se le fue la pinza en un concierto en Tokyo y se saco fotos con ellas, con Akane (bateria), al más estilo 'groupie'. Por cierto si no es por los de seguridad, Jimmy Page no se mete en los camerinos ya que las chicas no se creían nada. La foto 'rula' por Internet ya que la coloco Page en su twitter diciendo lo de 'AMAZING'.. ¡Felicidades!. Cerca de 120 canciones y todavia, despues de años, no se elegir una como favorita. Finalmente, toda la composición, arreglos, estructura, letras, etc son de ellas de la A a la Z. Como digo yo desde hace tiempo: 'Dios lleva tacones'

Pienso que que actualmente se disputa el primer lugar con Nightwish en cuanto a Talento, aún así creo que Band Maid está por encima, y me atrevo a decir que es una de las 5 mejores bandas de la historia, así muchos me quieran fusilar, pero es lo que pienso.

Yo las vi en Londres, en 2019. Cuando tocaron Onset, una instrumental, me sentí como una adolescente de esas que chillaban como locas viendo a los Beatles. Tuve que usar toda mi fuerza de voluntad para no imitarlas. Estoy casi obsesionado con esta banda, tengo TODOS sus LPs y singles, los DVDs. Estuve a punto de ir a verlas a Tokio cuando casi tocaron en el Budokan (gané la lotería de las entradas) pero llegó el puñetero virus y no pudo ser. En octubre iré a ver los conciertos de NYC y New Jersey. Te recomiendo encarecidamente que veas alguna actuación de ellas en vivo, son espectaculares.

Qué buena reacción al mejor grupo actualmente, y ya que mencionabas lo de verlas en concierto, pues estás de suerte pues es el hábitat natural de ellas, todas sus canciones son excelentes, pero tal vez checa Dominantion o Real Existence. Muchas gracias Rock On 👍💪

Hard metal girls band now 10 groups are famous. There are probably 30 to 50 groups, including pop rock bands, that are major professionally.

Welcome to Band-Maid. The BEST, HARDEST ROCKIN, LIVE Band in the World currently. Their studio releases are the teaser to bring you in like a gateway drug, until you find their LIVE performances which hit you like HIGH AMPERAGE JOLTS of ELECTRICITY!! Now that I have expended my allotment of hyperbole and praise today I will leave you with a few notes and the Maid-Info-Dump. Notes: The choice not to show their faces in the early part of video was deliberate to make people pay attention to the playing of the instruments and the skill being used. This song in particular was "Homework" from the lead guitarist and main composer Kanami, to the rest of the band. The Ladies were to write a portion of the song and then Kanami took all the disparate pieces and put it together into what you just watched. Now for the Info-Dump; Band Maid was started in 2013 by Miku Kobato. At the time she had just left the Idol Group, Lil Cumin and she didn't like the type of music she had been performing. She approached her management agency with the idea of making an actual band playing rock music but dressed as maids. She had worked in a Maid Cafe and thought the image of maids playing rockin music would create what she called "The Gap" between what you see and what you hear. The Management company was like Ok, go ahead. Miku then looked around and found Kanami a singer/songwriter who was posting her own videos on the internet. Miku contacted her and Kanami thought the idea was cool and agreed to join. Miku then asked if Kanami knew a drummer who might be interested. Kanami had worked with Akane in the past and literally walked over to Akane's apartment and asked her. Akane was actually hesitant as she had worked in an "All Girl Group" before and didn't enjoy it as it wasn't the type of music she wanted to play. After hearing a Demo, Akane was like ok, but was still slightly hesitant because of the "Maid Outfits", but she agreed to give it a try. Akane was asked if she knew a bass player and she had gone to Tokyo School of Music with MISA and had worked a couple of jobs with her. So Misa was contacted and after she heard a demo she was like I like the music, but she also was hesitant about the "Maid Outfits", but she relented and joined in as she really wanted to play the kind of music she heard in the demo. Now we have the "Core" members. I'm not too sure about the part but if I am wrong other Maidiacs will correct me in the comments. The 4 members worked out some songs and a setlist and from my understanding, they had actually performed 2 or 3 times with just Miku on main vocals. I may be wrong on that so don't take that as canon. Miku after those performances felt that her voice wasn't powerful enough to really perform the songs she wanted. So she approached her management company again and asked if they had any singers who weren't in other projects. Saiki was signed to the same management company and had done some work as a backup singer and dancer and was asked if she would be interested in auditioning for this new group which currently had 4 members and she would be the fifth. (I'm not sure about this part as I can't find the comment I read over on Reddit) She had been a member of a group with 8 other people and HATED it. So she listened to the demo and thought "Cool" because she liked the music. Now we come to the tricky part. Miku KNEW that if Saiki was told about the "Maid Outfits" she would say NO WAY!, so they didn't tell her. They told her they would have "Cool Clothes", and she never met Miku until a few days before they had a contracted performance. She wasn't told about the "Maid Outfits" until I believe it was 2 days before the performance, and she had considered backing out, but she had signed the contract. So the Ladies, went and did the performance and Saiki really, REALLY liked the crowds reaction and the music they were performing. She DIDN'T like the apron she wore so it got ditched after the first performance. And you now have the beginnings of the BEST LIVE HARD ROCK BAND in the WORLD! ALL HAIL BAND MAID!!!!! Now that we have the Full band, it was felt that there needed to be a second guitar. Saiki was like, "Not Me, No Way." So Miku said, "I'll do it.", at first that was literally all she did, was hold the guitar and mime playing it, until Akane said, if you are going to hold it, you NEED to learn to play it. And Miku said, "Ok.", and Kanami started to teach Miku how to play. The Ladies released their first album in 2014 "Maid in Japan" which only charted to #26 in Japan. Then in 2015 they released "New Beginning" On New Beginning was the song that changed Band Maid's entire existence. "Thrill"... The band was getting ready to release their first music video and the choice was between "Love, Passion, Matador" and "Thrill" and the ladies chose Thrill. This became the seminal moment of Band Maid. Because their second album hadn't even charted, the record company was seriously considering disbanding the Ladies and switching them to other projects. (In fact they had Kanami and Akane work with Mochi to Cheese thinking that when Band Maid cratered they could use them in another band). However about 6 months after the video's release, a Facebook page "JRock Radio" posted the video to their timeline. And the video went viral. Having over a million views in just a few short weeks. The Ladies Twitter page got so many hits they thought their page had been hacked. Their KZread channel also started getting more and more subscribers and views to Thrill. Now the ladies knew where their fans wanted them to go. Harder Rock, less pop. And history was Maid. The following info is from a comment left by KZread user @DanW60 Thrill was from their album New Beginning which was released in November, 2015. They didn't write any of the songs or lyrics on the album and it was only 33 minutes. As mentioned, Miku didn't even know how to play guitar at the time. The album went nowhere in Japan and their small label called Gump was about to drop them. Gump's plan was to keep Miku and Saiki as a singing and dancing duo and let the rest go. Then a miracle happened. The music video for Thrill became a huge hit on KZread, especially in the west. Band-Maid was saved and they changed labels to Crown Stones (a sub-label to a really big Japanese media company called Nippon Crown). Their 2016 album, Brand New maid, peaked at #19 on the Japanese charts but only one song was written by Kanami and it was only 31 minutes in length. Finally, in January 2017, they released the album Just Bring It which was a full album at 50 minutes. More importantly, 9 of the 13 songs were written by Kanami. In my opinion, it was the first true Band-Maid album. The album got as high as #16 in Japan and also charted in the UK. The next 3 albums - World Domination, Conqueror and Unseen World - all charted top 10 in Japan and charted overseas. All the songs were written by Kanami. She is the one that has pushed Misa and Akane to be as good as they are now, and also very successfully taught Miku to play guitar.

Thank you for the excellent reaction. Band Maid and The Warning are twoof my favorite bands. As an old American rock musician it’s sad to say for the most part we’ve lost our way, and I’m happy to see the younger generation of other nations picking up the torch of rock and refusing to let the flame die.

"Puzzle" es un temon!

Akane generally plays a single floor bass drum, but with a double pedal setup so she can do it rapidly and it sounds like two. They practiced blindfolded for this light show. Most of their videos are not this dark. Their official live videos on their channel are typically excellent. Their sound standards for live shows are high.

El primer vídeo de reacción de El Music Ón lo hizo un compañero tuyo precisamente también de esta canción, y con una sensación de sorpresa y aprobación similar a la tuya, pero después tardó mucho en volver a reaccionar a otro tema de BAND-MAID, espero que a tí no te pase igual, porque siempre es agradable ver reaccionar a la banda de tu predilección en tu mismo idioma. Puedes reaccionar a cualquier tema de ellas varias veces y siempre te llevarás alguna agradable sorpresa en ella, de hecho es recomendable escuchar cualquiera de sus canciones un mínimo de 6 veces para darte cuenta de la infinidad de matices que tiene cada una. Son 5 músicas que todas se hacen notar al unísono y se dan apoyo las unas a las otras sin estorbarse para nada constantemente, son la perfección hecha Rock and Roll. Son de otra Galaxia. El Rock ha vuelto a renacer y con más fuerza que nunca con esta siempre desconcertante Banda. BAND-MAID tuvo un principio, en 2013 pero están destinadas a no tener nunca un final. Ya empiezan a ser leyenda viva en esta Historia.

Yeah... those girls are of the scale when it comes to musicality. This song Embraces all aspects of what they have :vocal harmoinies, sick basslines, epic guitarwork and drumming. When Kanami composed it she told the girls. Make something epic, and i will try to braid it all together. So many directions you can go from here. To some of the older stuff which is more classic hard-rock or their fast paced newer, more progressive stuff. Live and studio? All good, but what i've found out is that they have a tendency to lift songs up when playing it live... Mostly because their songs are always developing, especially if they find some spot that could be done better. I see some mention "Domination" live from shibuya 2020... I guess you will love it so i guess you can start with "Play" which they play before as an apetizer... since it also will please the little of OCD i have LOL! Since the last tone of Play is the beginning of Domination. Subbed!

Las chicas de Band Maid son muy Talentosas, muchos dicen que es una de las mejores bandas de los últimos 40 años. Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) dice que la baterista, Akane Hirose es la reencarnación de su antiguo compañero John Bonham, uno de los mejores bateristas de la historia, hay fotos de Jimmy Page con Akane. Misa la Bajista es Fenomenal, muchos creen que es el alma de la banda, Kanami la Guitarrista no solo toca si no que también es la compositora de la mayoría de canciones, desde pequeña la han considerado una prodigio, Saiki y Miku tienen voces adorables, en fin..... esta banda es talento puro, ojalá puedas seguir haciendo más reacciones. En la plataforma de Bilibili están sus mejores videos, los mejores conciertos en vivo que en KZread ya no se pueden conseguir, te recomiendo canciones como Play, Moratorium, Rinne, Manners, Black Hole, Real existence, en fin.... Gracias por recomendar a Ren. Las Band-Maid son lo mejor de lo mejor. Sobre todo tus tres chicas de fondo, la guitarrista líder, la batería y la bajista (de la cual estoy enamorado ) La guitarra lider y principal compositora Kanami es una genio de las 6 cuerdas.. La batería y sonrisa de la banda, Akane, es una fuerza de la naturaleza Y MISA.. la bajista. ¿que puedo decir yo, enamorado de su música? Es un disfrute verla tocar y ver como hace fácil lo difícil PD: No importa la canción que elijas. No importa si es un video musical o una grabación en directo. Son, como he dicho, de lo mejor sobre un escenario y a nivel de composición (a veces llegan a ser abrumadoras) Talvez decir que las canciones más antiguas son peores (dentro de lo bueno)
