Band heel on CSM Circular Sock Machine

Band Heel My way
Flat knit across half needles lifting 1st needle on carrier side and lowering last needle opposite end to create a selvage. Number of rows to equal number of needles between 1/2 marks and heel marks +2 rows. For 72 cylinder- 11+11+2=24 rows
Weights- use heel fork for middle and 3 o’clock positions and flat claw weight @ 9 o’clock where the ribber stop is.
Carrier should be at 3 o’clock at the end of last row. Transfer stitches on needles between left heel mark and 9 o’clock (11 stitches) to Bobby pins, raise needles, knit across.
With carrier at 9 o’clock, place first Bobby pin stitch on far left stitch of the in work front needles (needle next to red mark). There will be 2 stitches on the needle. Make sure the yarn is behind the working needle and in front of the raised needles.
Transfer stitches on needles between the right heel mark and 3 o’clock (11 stitches) to Bobby pins, raise needles,
Knit across.
On the carrier side only transfer one stitch from the Bobby pin to the first working stitch next to the red mark. Make sure the yarn is behind the working needle and in front of the raised needles. Knit across. Alternate sides. You are always adding a stitch from a Bobby pin to the same alternate needle on the carrier side.
The last stitch to be made will be on the right side with the carrier at 3o’clock, before knitting across lower the needles from the heel mark to 9 o’clock and 1st instep needle (already has a stitch on it) past 9 o’clock.
Pick up the stitch below the instep stitch (off the needle past 9 o’clock) and place it on its neighboring empty needle. Pick up the first edge stitch and place it on the 1st instep needle (already has a stitch on it) past 9 o’clock. This needle now has 2 stitches- one stitch from the instep and a picked up edge stitch.
Raise this needle back up into hold position.
Pick up next edge stitch and place it on the first needle next to 9 o’clock (the same needle that has the transferred instep stitch). There are now 2 stitches on this needle. This will close any hole created by flat knitting.
Pick up remaining edge stitches (on this side only) and place them on the empty heel needles.
Place last stitch on the Bobby pin to the first working stitch next to the red mark on the carrier side . Make sure the yarn is behind the working needle and in front of the raised needles.
Knit across.
Lower the needles from the heel mark to 3 o’clock and 1st instep needle (already has a stitch on it) before 3 o’clock.
Pick up the stitch below the instep stitch (off the needle before 3/o’clock) and place it on its neighboring empty needle. Pick up the first edge stitch and place it on the 1st instep needle (already has a stitch on it) before 3 o’clock. This needle now has 2 stitches- one stitch from the instep and a picked up edge stitch.
Pick up next edge stitch and place it on the first needle next to 3 o’clock (the same needle that has the transferred instep stitch). There are now 2 stitches on this needle. This will close any hole created by flat knitting.
Pick up remaining edge stitches and place them on the empty heel needles.
Start lowering the rest of the needles this is the last pass for the heel and continue working in the round for the rest of the sock.
Knit across.
