On my fifth and last day in Wayanad, I visited two places:
1. BANASURA SAGAR DAM - SPEED BOATING

It's the largest earth dam in India and second largest in Asia.
The main activity here is the speed boating which takes around 15 minutes.
In addition to speed boating, they also have kayaking and coracle.
Speed boating will cost 1000 Rs. for max 5 people. Tickets for speed boat can be purchased only from the counter on a first come first served basis. There are no online bookings.
The counter will be closed during lunch time from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
2. BANASURAMALA MEENMUTTY WATERFALLS

Just 4km away from the Banasura Sagar Dam is the Banasuramala Meenmutty Waterfalls.
It is one of the must-to-go place in Wayanad.
I have never experienced such an adventurous trekking to reach the waterfalls.
