This is the most beautiful banana pudding I’ve ever seen. Lovely! I’ve put it on my **list** of Camirra’s recipes I want to make. x

I almost gave up Camirra!! I was looking at recipe and it said to add in milk but didn’t mention heavy whip cream but I figured I’ll add it since it says it at the top under ingredients. Then I had to play around with the heat then finally about 20-25 minutes of stirring it started to thicken up and it tastes wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing.

Looks delicious! Hot pudding will make your bananas turn brown and change the flavor as well. You would have to eat it quickly to prevent the bananas from browning. Your suggestion of adding whipped cream was a deal maker. My family will go ape over this.Thanks for sharing!

Hey y’all. So I made this last Thursday for my nephew’s 17th birthday. 🤗🤗Hands down the best, everyone who had some wanted more. My brother and I sprinkled cinnamon on some and yes indeed🎉🎉. I doubled the recipe and had enough pudding to make a second pudding. I’m using mini vanilla wafers only in this one. Ty so much for sharing this recipe, Camirra.

Wow wow wow ❤ Best looking banana pudding recipe I’ve ever seen anybody create. You have such a wonderful voice to listen to and you had me cracking up. When you said as you’re doing a banana pudding, you decide that you were becoming an artist. Lol. I’m still waiting on my mother’s recipe that you said you would try to help re-create for me of the pork chops with cream of mushroom soup. 🥰🥰🥰. My mom used to make banana pudding as well but nothing like yours. Yours is over the top and I can’t wait to try it!!!

My MaDear made cooked / hit my favorite ❤️! My Mom makes cold instant. Never tried homemade pudding with it . I like vanilla wafers. Going to try your way . I don’t like the lemon 🍋 fun fact if you rinse the bananas in cold water it doesn’t alter them and they don’t turn brown.

I've only had hot banana pudding once years ago when I went down south and it was oh so good but my family here in Ohio always make some kind of cold version of it. I pretty much like all versions but definitely will be trying this recipe. Light on the bananas for me.

Another great recipe. When I was growing up, the single ladies at the church always competed on "Dinner On The Grounds" Sunday. All trying to get with the single hungry preacher, lol I never had so many varieties of banana pudding in my life. 😁😁This one looks like it could beat them all. Happy Easter, Miss Camirra!!! Thank you. I love pudding with whipped cream in it and on it, not crazy about the meringue ones I have had.

Yes I don’t like hot either. My MIL makes homemade pudding and eats it hot. I always put it in the freezer to cool it off.

Looks awesome my dear! I made a vegan version of this homemade but the custard or the pudding didn’t come out like yours did which is smooth and slightly thick. I use the Biscuit cookies cuz I’m booshie. Lol. But I will try this again but maybe use vegan egg with the mixture of cornstarch like you did.❤

I think for a vegan version you may need extra cornstarch to make it thicker. Also, I would make sure you are adding plant based fat. like using coconut cream. almond milk is think and wouldnt work fro this recipe. but maybe a creamy oat milk can work.

@@CamirrasKitchen yes ma’am! I was thinking of that too. Coconut whipping cream with coconut milk and or also soy milk and use the vegan egg. That’s gonna be bomb!!! I cannot wait. I think before I used almond milk which yes did not work but it was a different recipe. Not like yours. Yours got some “meat” on it! Lolol! Ima try this with banana pudding cookies with the pudding in it like a cookie sandwich! My Lord!!!

Could you use condensed milk instead of granulated sugar when making the custard? How much would I use?

I would say yes. and for sure would need the whole can. but you wud have to taste to see if you wanted more sugar.

You need to coat your banana pieces in lemon juice first - stops it going brown. x
