The browner your bananas are, the less sugar you need to use. Bananas turning brown are sweeeeet

I made this today. It was yum. I did change a few things though, like 1 wheat bread instead of white, I did half a banana, one little packet of Splenda in the egg and one little Splenda packet in the banana and fried it in one teaspoon of coconut oil. And ate it with a drizzle of sugar free maple syrup. Delicious. Goes well with some tea or coffee.

A nice bit of needed sunshine during this quarantine. I tried it this morning and we really enjoyed it. Just added a teaspoon of vanilla to the mix with a side of vanilla yogurt. Tasty!

You don't have to waste them. Grind them up and use as bread crumbs or eat them if you like

Just did this and it turned out good:3 Used cold water on the edges instead of egg though, since I don’t eat eggs, and it worked wonders

lol Brazilians too. I'm not Brazilian (Portuguese here) but I know that they also put condensed milk in everything _and I for one love it!

This recipe is really good. I just tried it and yes, it's similar to french toast but slightly different. I did some changes to the original tho: used whole-grain bread, didnt add any sugar. once it was ready, I just added a little bit of honey and ground cinnamon. It tastes delicious. If you feel like that's not sweety enough, just add one envelope of splenda to the egg mix. Alternative options to make it healthier: use almond milk and only the albumen of the egg.

Remember GHEE is refined butter or sometimes referred as CLARIFIED BUTTER. It's basically butter without the milk solids.

Ghee is better as you can heat it up more than butter and it won't scorch. I just read that.
