i just commented on one of your old videos . lets say i have a oppotunity for a grant and decide i want to get into 3d printing and i also would have the chance to get contract jobs in different filed like petroleum , offices , water supply contracts what printers industrial level should i go for ,..... ive made a plan but i want to see if anything you suggest comes up with what ive planned already

Hey! Thanks for watching and commenting. As far as your question is concerned, I'm not going to be much help. Commercial 3D printing is still kind of the Wild West. And the differnences between commercial and home/hobby/consumer grade are astounding, not to mention the cost differences. Good luck!

The other thing that Bambu may be doing, is to get in on the Prusa Mini sales, but to bring out a printer that is as small as the Prusa Mini, but cheaper, and quicker and easier for a total newby to get started - and with the reliability that Bambu seems to have with all their printers, once people get used to using the A1, they will consider upgrading to something bigger, but that they recognise, like the P1 or X1 series? Just a thought (from a newby who is thinking of getting an A1... 🤔)

The problem with Bambu is this , you buy the a1 mini set it up start using it because it so easy to use you dont need to really know much about the printer until it stops working and yes lots of people have already run into this with the x1c and p1p so you contact Bambu as i have done with the p1s that was not bed leveling correct and Bambu said oh it user error you must be doing something wrong, really now its set to only work the way they tell the printer to work and you cant just fix it like you can a Prusa Mini and Prusa customer support will guide you right away to have your printer working again but this way you get to understand how your printer works and how to fix it if it happens again, but you cant with Bambu and there customer service is a joke so what just another a1 mini cus it so cheap lmao.

@@grampafpv8013 Yes - this is the dilemma I have... Save money buying a printer which seems to have very little support once bought, or spending a lot more on one that is easier to fix or get fixed... 🤔

With whatever the "A" range becomes it'll use the same AMS system - as X & P models - so the printer design will be the only thing that'll need working on

It's possible they'll use the standard AMS, but I'm interested to see what they'll do with the AMS Lite. I wonder if someone will figure out how to retrofit and Ender or Prusa or something. Could be interesting!

@@The3DPrintingZone in theory couldn't you replace the drive head in any 3D printer to accept the AMS feed ?..is the change of filament part of klipper (which almost every printer these days run)? I'm clearly not 100% on this 🤔

I just check out it's price a few hours ago and it's €340 the machine only, in Europe! That is significantly more than $299!

VAT is included for Europe, for the US taxes on purchase ranges per state and is added at checkout.

Why do you mention the 80C bed as if it's a positive thing?

Its small cheap and useful

Not even Bambulab recommends ABS for MIni, so where are your test prints for ABS!

Hey! Note that I said that if you had a proper enclosure, then the temp settings should support it. I was just trying to point out that they went far beyond what was needed for an open-sided 3D printer. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Actually printer with AMS lite costs 505.43 Euro and 13Euro shipping. In Europe in their shop. Printer itself is 318euro.

Now lets see, you say dependable only time will tell that story even there flag ship x1c and the p1s have been giving people trouble already and customer service is not very good as of yet so welcome to Chinese manufacturing and made parts and just remember they are x DJI People its the money that counts more than the service as we will come to see in the future just remember you get what you deserve from that part of the world so as an American there loving theses reviews because they are much smarter in everyway so remember that as your praising them and logging on to there cloud with your information.

Thanks for watching! Yes, if I can read your comment, there are always issues with just about anything out there, Chinese made or otherwise. We try to give you the low-down on the printer, but everyone has to make their own informed choices. Thanks again!

I honestly bought it and regret it. The 180mm cubed build volume is just too small, most prints don't fit. The AMS is nice but I consider it an extra, considering I usually do single color prints.

The quality of that Benchy is not great. I would not be impressed if my print came out like that. How long did it take to print?

Still one enormous drawback.....poo. That's right, just too much waste. With their so call genius engineers one would think they could solve this problem. What about a multiple extruder head? But wait, Bambu lab does sell filament, don''t they?

I agree about the waste. I tend to stick to one color, especially for prototyping. And I try to get away from the tower if possible. My Snapmaker J1 dual-extruder works great but doesn't compare to the reliability of the Bambu machines. I know many people are working on mitigating the poop, but for now it's a thing we have to deal with.

By default they have a ourge tower AND poo, i think the purge tower can be done away with saving some 25% filament for multicolored prints

​@@rajgill7576Of the two, the purge tower is the more important - its not for purging colour, it's for getting the flow right from the new filament siwtched in. Without the purge tower ans same amount of poop purge, you'd be exponentially increasing layer adhesion failiures in your print as the flow hasn't set
