I'm a 19 (and soon to be 20) girl from Taiwan. I was formerly a ballerina but stopped dancing 3 years ago. Last October I start to do online classes (including yours ) , they really help me a lot in many aspect!!! Want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the members of Dutch National Ballet (of course for other teachers/dancers/ballet instructors/and others). Hope can continue to see more ballet barre classes and center work combinations in the following days!!!

I am returning to ballet after maaaany years and I consider myself a beginner. Your videos are so aspirational, they remind me of the “feeling” of dancing. I watched this twice and did what I could. I find that today music is very stimulating.

So wonderful to see you back what a lovely surprise to find this new class when I logged in this morning to join in with one of the original barre classes as I do every day. Thank you all so much.

I am 72 years old and have rediscovered ballet though these classes. I did the first section all through 3 X and am totally happy that you have continued with another section. Thank you🙋🏻‍♂️

The Class with Ernst was as good as usually; this time exercises were even more interesting . Nice to see junior dancers, their genuine smiles, beautiful faces. Mila is very talented and charismatic. I made my exercises only looking at her in front and at the back. As for male dancer, he was pretty mediocre, selected probably based not on his skills but on ideology. Even camera all the time was on the female dancer keeping male in shadow. This is unfair to a talented dancer who wasn't selected because he was not part of desirable race. Class 14 continues this agenda, I probably will skip it.

@@DutchNatOperaBallet Thank you very much for taking your time to read my comment and reply. Great if Dutch Ballet selects dancers based on performance and not any agenda. My apologies if my comment was influenced by previous personal experience. Prior to COVID I took my child to a Vancouver theater to Sounds of Music. 7 children of the Trapp Family were of various races and colors. I don't mind if they would be the best suitable for the role; however, the performance was very mediocre, level of high school, while I paid $85 per ticket. As per my understanding, the theater promoted ideological agenda. I recall my disappointment. Since that the theater sends me invitations, asks for donations during COVID time- I ignore their messages, will not come and will not pay for my child to go. The theater is losing spectators if they select artists based on ideology.
