Fun to remember a world before cell phones and palm pilots. :D I wonder if they are still doing it au Natureal at the Irish Stud Farm or if they are now making the stallions go in a receptacle.

Nicky Pearson thoroughbreds are the one breed that must be served naturally with mare covered by stallion rather then artificial insemination. ..even today 😊

st patrick is, the primary patron saint of Ireland, along with saints Brigit of Kildare, and Columba, and st patrick, wasnt irish ?

although vikings, rode horses, they would, dismount, and fight, on foot, the norman vikings, were probably, the exception, although, their cavalry, could have been, french mercenaries ?
as, a result, of hunting, a lot, of foxes, have, migrated, to the city, now, we have, a lot, of, dirty brown looking animals, scavenging for, whatever is available, instead of, the beautiful looking, red fox
surely, other countrys, had their own versions, of thoroughbreds, not, just england and ireland ?

No. Thoroughbred in horses is a specific breed, For example at about 30 minutes in they talked abut 3 Triple Crown Winners put up to stud there, one is Northern Dancer, who was a Canadian thorughbred which is a speed horse designed to run a mile and a quarter trak. There are other kinds of horse races, Arab races are longer (2 miles? I think) as Arabs are the hot blood but stanima horse and the Quarter Horse, an American warmblood breed is a sprinter that runs a quarter mile track (thus the name). Quarter horses are European horses mixed with Spenish horses that came up in the americas from the conquisadors.
