Madami sarado na places in preparation for Nyepi Day which was fine with us kasi sa The Edge palang sobrang sulit na.
March 22
We just stayed in the villa dahil Nyepi Day ng Bali, start ng New Year sa kanila and Day of Silence kaya kahit airport sarado. It is also Juli's birthday. Kahit hindi kami pwede lumabas this day and madami na closed establishments and tourist spots as early as March 21, masaya pa din dahil nakita namin ang Balinese culture at its best. Naggrocery na lang kami ng pwedeng lutuin since bawal lumabas and magingay sa day na to.
Sobrang mura ang tours sa Bali, usually ranging from $30-50 per car na yun so recommended talaga for groups. Example, and Bedugul tour namin was only $45 per car whole day na yun so since 5 kami, $9 per person lang. It is up to you na lang din if gusto mong magbigay ng tip. Sa Pilipinas, ang rate ng mga ganitong tour would probably cost around PhP8000-15000 per day.
We booked 2 hotels during our stay in Bali, both in Seminyak para near sa airport. We were pleasantly surprised sa 2 hotels kasi the pictures online were not that good pero both were many times better in person + king size ang mga beds. We relied lang talaga sa reviews ng mga visitors so eto mga binook namin. Both have swimming pools.
March 19-21 Semimpi Hotel
Price is like PhP1100+ per night including booking fee and tax so sobrang mura. In the Philippines, ang ganitong klaseng hotel would be worth at least PhP3,000 per night. Sobrang tahimik and malakas internet, everyday nililinis room.
March 21-23 Mokko Suite Villa. We booked a 2-storey, 2-bedroom villa with private pool for only around PhP5500 per night including booking fee and tax. In the Philippines, this suite would cost at least PhP30,000 per night. Both rooms have bath tubs too.
I think ang main reason and highlight of our entire stay in Bali was we booked an amazing tour provider Bali Holiday Tour n Travel
Noong una, I was communicating with another tour provider pero matagal magreply like 2 or 3 days and I wanted to get confirmation as early as January. Dahil sa delay ng reply, naghanap ako ibang tour provider and I found them in Facebook. I have been communicating with them since January. Sobrang bait pati ng owner Kadek AnggaTour. And our driver/tour guide Arnyana Leeyonk was great. Pagkasundo sa amin sa airport, may boxes of chicken meals syang binigay sa amin for free. Marunong din sya magtagalog. They gave us 3 free rattan bags (1 each for me, Juli and my niece). They also bought cake and flowers for Juli's birthday kaya sobrang naappreciate namin ang pasurprise. Super thankful talaga kami na sila ang nabook namin and for anyone going to Bali, I highly recommend them. They go above and beyond talaga and sobrang appreciated nila if magbigay ka tip sa kanila kaya mas lalong nakakatuwa.
