We take the both the local ferries and the fast boats regularly to travel between Bali and Lombok. We hope this can give an idea to future travellers of what to expect when travelling like a local! Just to add, we mostly always now take the local ferry, because it is cheap as chips and does the job! Plus, it's a bit of an adventure!
