I think that at the moment i would like to know if its true that the lifestyle there is not the same and there's no tourism etc. Also, how you go about your search for housing when you are sharing a villa with others. Also, your daily routine in bali could be super cool

Interesting and informative. One thing, though. If one is NOT an experienced scooter driver, getting on Bali roads to get experience isn't a great idea.

Yes, trying to learn on the busy streets of Bali is not the best idea. I personally learned in an uncrowded neighborhood after a couple months of being in Bali and observing the roads from the back of a scooter. Much better to go somewhere more remote to learn.

Impressive video. Been to Bali 8 times. Have family there. But your video is extremely helpful and informative. Good stuff!

Since 2020 you can't just buy a simcard at your destination...you have to register it at customs (no tax if it's less than 500$) or you need a Telkomsel sim card. Only they can unlock a foreign phone for 3 month.

I have never heard of that before. It has always worked out just showing my passport to the person working at the sim card shop. I am guessing they register it into the system.

For the SIM cards i heard that you must verify your phone at customs and get something called IMEI? Is this something new?

Does metal credit card gets inserted in atm machine ?

How much did you pay the driver?

Hi! It depends on how far you are going, and how long you want them for. Normally from the airport to Ubud is 300K for a private driver. Hope this helps!

How much does it cost to hire a driver I don’t have an international drivers license and I’m not sure if I’m good enough with directions to be on a scooter in a foreign country lol

It depends on where you are going. You can also download the GoJek app once you have an Indonesian SIM card (similar to an Uber) and have them take you around. Usually after one ride you can get their contact info directly from them and hire them for future rides.

The Bali international airport is still closed, so all quarantine time is done in Jakarta 🙂

the restricted rules are lifted since today, no more banned countries and you can quarantine in Bali (direct flight only, 7 days quarantine) hopefully international flights will be back to bali soon, especially in march there will be a motogp events in lombok)

You are supposed to have an International Drivers License, as if you are pulled over they will ask for it. However most of the bike rental shops will not ask you for it.
