An Elder Brain is the key component to the leadership and existence of a mind flayer community and more broadly mind flayer society but how is one made and how does it interact with mind flayers and see the world and how do individual mind flayers view it?

I love how in the early game if you talk to the dead mindflayer in the goblin camp you get a hint that this is their plot but players are lead to believe it's the dead three again and in the end you realize the true villain was the netherbrain

Mind Flayers are utterly alien things. I beat they wouldn't mind much.
What woul happen if an Elder Brain decided to forcefully remove Ulitharid brain and have it merged? Is the knowledge and experience of a Ilithid brain the only value Elder Brain has of it, or does the processing power of a brain also have value?
