I let her decide for herself. Not a single nudge to her in any direction. She chose to spare Nightsong despite my Dark Urge was okay with killing her. But they have spent too much time together for him to interfere. And he has his own struggle going on.

Love how karlack asks you " wanna dance" and the we see her dancing on her own occasionally, ❤

Im trying not to watch too much to avoid spoilers but that fight at the beginning was so cool, cant wait, those bombs looked fun

One of my biggest regrets for my first play through is I didnt start seriously using explosives until act 3. You can actually run around and plant them with the rogue pre combat… then boom when the fight starts. To be fair in the low acts I may not have had the stealth for that… but the bombs sure are fun even to throw

In bg3, things can only fly on their turn. Like when you cast the fly spell, you start and end each turn with your feet on the ground.

This playthrough went so off the rails from what I typically see lol. Cleared the Gauntlet of Shar immediately, didn't meet some people at Last Light, fought Marcus at Moonrise. Amazes me still how many different ways events can unfold.

That point where you were scouting the outside of Moonrise and fell TWICE on the vine ladder made me laugh so hard. I went back and rewatched it like seven times until I was in tears 😂

From someone who played as a selune cleric and befriended Isobel and Dame Aylin, taking them all the way to the final battle, I was SHOCKED watching ur play through lmaoo 😭😭 Selunites don’t stand a chance in ur world

38:50 I’m yelling at a prerecorded video that Gale is out of combat and you can still prepare the spell you want and I only know this because I did the same thing in another fight and didn’t realize until after

In my playthrough, I got rid of the displacer beasts first. I scouted ahead and discovered the fiend lying in wait with the Merregons. I summoned the golem and sent him on point down the steps, and cast Evard's black tentacles on the steps. It took a lot of rounds before the enemy fully joined combat, but I aoe'd them slowly out of existence, with a combo of ranged attacks and barrelmancy. The golem died, solving that problem. Controlling combat at a jump chokepoint allowed me to be well away of the Orthon's dead man switch. It was a lot of bard dumb luck, too.

15! Awesome! Interesting to see Shadowheart's evolution!

Protection from good and evil into Hunters mark, great combo :D

Not going to lie of all the times you released two episodes at a time I wish today was one of them!!😂 also don’t worry about showing to much content we are all here for it. Love watching you loot everything, manage your inventory, even watching you die. I watch your let’s play and you live. Love both

Loved watching how differently you approached the last fight to how I was able to do it. I'm playing a paladin with emphasis on charisma and was able to talk my way into a very different situation.

Protip: You can use the Ring of Exalted Marrow on the Apostle of Myrkul! I thought WTH and tried Exhort The Risen when I saw that thing, and it landed on a 25% hit chance! Getting the Apostle to skip a turn is huge for this fight. Funnily enough you can also disarm the Apostle. There are a surprising amount of ways to make this fight not nearly as hard as it seems. Also: Post the TPK fight if you haven't already!!

If I recall, there was a call for the sacrifice of a Selunite. For all we know, Shadowheart was a priest of Selune. Her memory was taken away, and the blood sacrifices that she had done may have been the fulfilling of that sacrifice.

Wolf is notorious for constantly hitting his summoned spirit weapons, they have feelings too man…

This game has been great. Finally got to really dig in this weekend. I got the achievement to pet both animals at the same time. Said like only 2% did that. Pet your pets people!

I know i'm 5 months late with the reply, but his character has 0 charisma modifiers and no persuasion/deception/intimidation proficiencies. And if I'm not mistaken these rolls have pretty high DC, I think it's over 20, so he had no chance of succeeding.

Never seen a playthrough so different from my own lol this is so cool

I was right about the Absolute being an Elder Brain. I had thought the Dead Three had made a pact with one, so I didn't get the enslaving part, but wow! I was pretty damn close.

Amazing how my tower invasion had a literal army waiting for me within the tower, like 12 and eventually 16 enemies plus Z'rell, and no backup. I was doing an evil run with Shadowheart freeing the Nightsong(by her own choice). I let my companions make their own decisions when it came to decisions like this, and it led to a very difficult assault on Moonrise Towers.

@@YomamaYodaddyYobjtchassGranny Just redid it. It was 15 with 4 reinforcing near the end of the battle. That was embracing dark urge, evil path with Shadowheart freeing Nightsong. Embracing Dark Urge means all the Harpers died to the Shadow Curse.

What a crazy game. Amazing play through.

Damn; Shadowheart going all dark. Going to be interesting IF I go full on paladin; me still just fooling around with race/class. Edit: yes, Shadowheart's past is interesting indeed.

@@playlistb3795 The Dark Urge is the true main character in all honesty. The Dark Urge's story and struggle fit in best with the game's narrative and connects to a lot of plot points, particularly in Act 3.

I am watching another playtrough with ESO. You are both going to the same places, but the games are completely different. I haven' t seen a game like this. Bravo Larian!

Sleepless nights watching these but its so worth it!

I just realized there at the end when looting the body. You can make Kethric drop his warhammer at the tower-top, and he´ll have a completely useless flail instead in this fight. (he can still smite.)

I’ve just been screaming “KILL THE TRUE SOUL!” this entire time, and every time you notice her you’re like “Huh thought I killed her already.” NO!!

Yes the boss encounter got me the first time as well. I had to release the angel who was a huge help. Plus I had rescued his daughter as well so she wasn't there. My group is more stealthy than yours and definitely nit as tanky. Sure wish I would gave thought to use guardians with shadow. But I'm off to baldurs gate. Will watch your next video after I progress a bit. Well done. And yes this story is amazing. They make you feel for the characters it's crazy.

I feel like most users would develop a romantic relationship with Shadowheart and would manage to influence her decisions later. You playing a lone wolf so they don't really consider much of what you think.

Just finished watching the new live stream episode and then this comes out😍

For my paladin, who helped the three Tiefling kids (the trinket thief, the statue would-be thief, and the harpy rescue), I was supposed to be able to get my stuff back (that was pick pocketed), but for whatever reason, I can't get the stuff back from Mol. I think it's a new bug, since there was no problem with the quest to get my stuff back in the Early Access.

I don't think you should be able to destroy a stone wall with fireball and then jump right in front of old mate and still be stealthed lol.

I played pretty strictly with Karlach, Gale and Laezel. I'm really looking forward to a playthrough with Shadowheart now. Maybe a more evil playthrough.

I finished the game the other day, some tips under tactician difficulty, I never had the need to use Gale since you get enough scrolls, I never had the need to use restoration at all, I think Remove Curse and everything Healing I used, but then with withers you recruit one Cleric, one Bard, then respect another recruit as a bard, then do your heavy healing with them before using short rests, also every morning you cast on your fav companions free move and long Strider on Camp, at higher levels you have the one that is like Full and Rest or something like that that gives you immunity to a bunch of stuff (Including poison), Bards also have a "short rest" spell, also every morning take your speak to animals potion, then you take an heroic elixir, and any other elixir (heroic gives 2 conditions, only 1 is removed with the second elixir), also at baldurs gate you get blessings for all your companions if you pray for 5000g a pop, you can steal the money back (send items from those chests to camp do not send to inventory or you get cursed) , also at the circus get your statue. Organize your inventory by sending chests to camp and backpacks and always carry small purses for all the rings , another one for all the necklaces, all the head gear, foot wear and gauntlets , order them in a way that will make sense to you, keep things organized I did headgear, chest, capes, gauntlets , etc from left to right, also you do not need to hold to all of those gems, jewels or bars, just sell them, if you are new to this CRPGs from Larian, you can talk to a vendor with one character, then have Astarion Steal while the vendor is facing your way, be sure to have good sleight of hand skills, then once done, end the conversation and run far from the vendor to avoid triggering the suspicion checks, you can stock on smokepowder barrels those are helpful af), when the place is to crowded get somebody to play an instrument, everyone will walk towards the music then steal so GET SOMEONE TO PLAY AND INSTRUMENT (easiest way is with the Druids, there is a tiefling that will help you learn it). Also Knockout Minthara, DO NOT KILL HER at the Goblin Camp, Lazael is just an unbeatable truck and Astarion is the most useful, Astarion dual wielding with double light crossbows and daggers kicks ass. Stock always on Fireball Scrolls, Globe of Immunity and Remove Curse scrolls, WALL OF FIRE, Summon Elemental and that's all you need haha. For checks, use the Mask from Divinity II if you can or something to shapeshift and the shapeshifter boon ring, get enough items or level up so that you can have descent perception on at least one character. Turn Undead is really helpful, so Shadowhart for undeads is very useful, specially with the blood of lathander. In the new patch you only get three attacks with the summon weapon on a Paladin-Warlock, this carried me thru the game. Also do not shy away from ilithid powers (You can get a small cosmetic mod to just mark half of your face this will not remove STEAM achievements), I just gave the ´powers to my TAV for roleplay but in retrospective after the end i should have at least gave them to someone else too. For Potions always carry something to see invisibility or let VOLO to do the surgery...SPOILERS: You can free Orpheus after getting the NetherStones and Convince him to turn full Ilithid, you get your parasite removed at the end even if you were half ilithid, the Clown body parts are easy to find , just follow the story, do not get the long sword from the forge, you better get the armor and shield (only two), let Volo do the surgery to be able to get See Invisibility permanently, for the Raphael Fight use Fire Resistance and focus on the pilars, you can also get Yurgir to turn on him even if you killed him in the Gauntlet. You can also get the pixie blessing for the shadow curse very early, just kill the spider guy and let the pixy free (you will know), it will also help you with certain press related quest in BG. Soul Coins are just meh. To get almost everything, do not go thru the Mountain Pass, complete all the region, then go Underdark and complete it up until the Forge, do not go to Shadowlands, then go back to Mountain Pass and continue from there, do the Githyanki temple (I killed them all), move to shadowlands...You can Sneak Kill a bunch of ppl before the final fight...

Dude this game is so freaking epic...... I can not wait for my bday to get this game lol.

I cant imagine how brutal that fight would have been. I convinced Ketheric to redeem himself, and so he jumped into the hole bringing about the apostle of Myrkul. I also managed to out of combat snipe the skelingtons with Asterion. Plus I had Aylin. So my fight was considerably easier. Meaning my Paladin blew every spell slot on smite and four turn merked Myrkul.

i had to roll natural 20 to succeed in getting her not to kill the Nightsong and with inspiration re-rolls i was not expecting it but did get it on the third try, so my run will have taken a different path with her, will have to have a second run to see where it would have gone once this run is over

I liked rescuing Us. A good companion in Act 3

So it's interesting, coz I failed the rolls like you did, tried to persuade her not to do it. But in the end I said she should decide for her self. And she didn't do it. Guess it's your previous actions matter... Wonder what influence it! But I'm glad it's not just rollls and there's more complicated logic. (about Shadowheart)

I'm not much of a gamer. But watching you sneak the entire party into the lions Den, despite great odds (stealth checks on non stealth characters), right behind a pivotal enemy.... I am considering getting a gaming PC and steam deck and those glasses that project a screen, just to play this game. 🤔

lmao all those misclicks made me feel like a backseat driver, regardless was entertaining and fun to watch!

I’m pretty sure these were all recorded days ago since you just had the game crash due to an update. But- in future demon and undead fights it’s a good idea to throw Blood of Lathander onto Karlach so she imposes blindness on anyone within 6m/20 feet.

You can get a hand crossbow that does extra damage to burning targets. Combine that with this one that can cause burning.

I am romancing Astarion and had him in my party throughout most of the adventure.

Turn undead could've changed that Ketheric Thorm battle around very easily, at that level Shadowheart can turn 3, sometimes 4 necromites per turn, even when they are not destroyed they spend 2 turns running away from the cleric, makes things much more smooth.

The Blood of Lathander coulda turned around the whole fight with it's blind effect

1:07:30 Evard's black tentacles is soo good! I used it where Ketheric was standing and he and the dog could barely do anything during the whole fight edit: actually, I confused evard's black tentacles with hunger of hadar 🤗

When that last boss spawned on my first run through I was like wtf. Only one survived.

3:36:45 Aw, didn't do the funny... killing it with magic missile is my favourite way to end the fight.

And also basically the worst way to end act 2... Isobel's dead, Aylin's dead, the Tieflings are dead (bug), the gnomes are dead, Minthara is dead, the Harpers are dead, Thaniel isn't saved. Only thing possibly worse would be Halsin dying too.

I skip most dialogue stuff so I keep surprises. But one thing I’d remind you of: Use Knock. You already have it, it opens ALL locked doors and chests.

If it was a Ritual spell I'd use it Wish mage armor was too so i'm not always down that 1 slot between long rests.

GG ! I don't why but I was level 9 at this fight ... and few fireballs and a wall of fire gave me victory (and a lae'zel alone in melee with the apostle) . You did great !

@@WolfheartFPS you managed it so well ! Really interesting to watch. I was even overleveled, Ketheric didn't play. And Sorcerer draconic bloodline (fire), adept elemental (fire), DC20 against my spells (with items) ... my easy mode build ;)

For the avatar of myrkul I used a 4th level cloud of daggers on it because it doesn't move

It's amazing how completely different the tower assault is with a couple of events happening differently. I went in with an army. Is this on Tactician?

Ketheric armour in baby blue and yellow is perfect for shadowheart, or at least i think so

Gale was not in combat, you could have prepared shatter, but I would have made the same mistake tho...

In battle i used the bell,who sumoned a big boss,as ally. And my character are half mind flyers,and i battle i used and will,with his dagers.

Wolf your guardian looks like Judy from Cyberpunk 2077 haha, I can't unsee it

WRT wizards and Robes vs Light Armour.. Mage Armor is AC +3.. That is as good as all but very good magic light armor.
