one of the more obnoxious character barks in the game. Whenever I get to the druid grove I am tempted to visit the merchant there ... but I will always go and talk to the bothersome tieflings first, just to make them shut up. Good soundtrack, though!

There is another one track, when you stay near trader of the grove, can't find it.

My wife and I left our game on to this place in the background as we got a little "distracted" with each other. Now we realize this song is great background music for a romantic evening, 10/10 would recommend

I think there are several string instruments used throughout the different songs, probably harpsichord, lyre, harp, violin, piano...

This is not 'ambient' music. Ambient is a music genre, and it mostly consists of soundscapes. 'Ambience' refers to 'the character and atmosphere of a place.' :)

while i'm sure your pedantry is deeply appreciated all of us who clicked on this got exactly what we expected in return, thus nullifying all that. Common use just = "environmental (i.e. ambient!) sounds in the background". And common use is unfortunately what meaning evolves into.

Well, I’m glad for your sake. But just for info, because of headlines like this, my clients get confused every time, which creates frustration and misunderstanding. They’re ordering “ambient music” that has a lower fee due to less complexity, yet expecting to have cinematic arrangement because of wrongly classified video titles such as this one, and believe this is what “ambient” compositions should sound like. 😅

The "ambience" is the background and world noises as this music is recorded in game and thus captures the birds, leaves falling, wind sweeping or the "ambience" of the the location. Your statement of what ambience is, is correct and this tag on the music is correct as if you listen to this beautiful track it includes all the ambience of the Druid Grove not normally found on the OST recording of this music!

I have a suggestion for Hogwarts Legacy how about the black lake the top or courtyard not a lot of people have done the game's version of it and it will be beautiful with the soundtrack possibly a day/night cycle? please and thank you.

@@godziltar2380 I tried to translate it into some semblance of English, I think this is what they were trying to say: "If you plan to make an ambient mix for Hogwarts Legacy, I have a suggestion. How about the Black Lake, the Top (?), or the Courtyard? Not a lot of people have used the game version, and it will be beautiful with the soundtrack. Maybe you could even include a day/night cycle? Please and thank you!"
