I understand your guys point but for someone who is just prolonging the inevitable I stopped my treatments cuz it was just not working the more I grew up. I shaved it off after I found out it wasn’t useful for me anymore. My insecurities grew more so I shaved it off & to my surprise I looked way better & my self-confidence grew more. The only regret I had was I should have shaved my head sooner.

I think you were spot on in the first video. Harry got over it pretty quickly because he was already in a serious relationship with his now wife. 95% of the guys worrying about their hair are worrying about it because of dating. Also, side note, when I switched from topical minox to 5mg oral minoxa day, I lost a lot of ground. It seems like oral minoxidill doesn't work for everyone whilst topical worked well for me. Frustrating as oral is so much more convenient.

Odd. I mean oral goes systemic so it should work as well or better

Hi John, you're the first person I've ever heard from that had topical finasteride work better for their hair than oral. If it did for you then it did, but that's super unusual.

Interesting, I’ve had the opposite experience. Been on 5mg minox daily for about 4 months and already noticed a night and day improvement in hairline and overall thickness. Dermatologist said I look like a different person now. Never noticed improvement with topical. I guess I’d just say to make sure what you’re experiencing isn’t a temporary shed before you give up.

David, Great video, I asked Harry if I could react to one of his videos, but he didn't sound too thrilled, which is fine. I think you bring up a good point. Buying time is life. I most definitely thought shaving was the best option for him. All of the reasons he provided are basically the same reasons I would say make someone a terrible candidate.

Totally, and if someone still feels internally at peace about shaving their head (especially once educated about their options) then it’s what I would suggest for them. I love having hair though personally, and time is life for sure 😁

I think you nailed it with that 20-40 age range. That’s why balding in your 20s really sucks, you’re still at the very beginning of your adult life. I’m sure balding isn’t fun at any age but when you’re in the prime mating age as you say, you really want to look your best.

I mean, everything Harry has said in this video is truth. This is the reality men face, as you know. His channel is a living proof of service of this. Time and time again men grow tired of the charade and shave it. Most men don’t just go “huh I’m losing my hair, time to shave it all off right now day 1!” It’s a long, arduous process that takes many years for a lot of guys. That’s why he made the channel.

Just want to note I’ve been on finasteride since my early 20’s now in my 40’s, started thinning since I was 18 and still have most of my hair except the hairline did not fully recover. Worth going through and not just shaving it off.

Ciao ragazzo! :) I had similar story. Started noticing when I was 20. Got on fin when I was 25. Had lost quite a bit. Now I am 49 and have most hair. Sill a bit thinner compared to my original hair on the top / front. And my temple corners are more diffuse and as well is the hairline. But apart from that all had been good. I only have taken fin nothing else. How about you? Anything else or also hair fin? Forza Finasteride!

@@litjellyfish ciao, I have also been taking Saw Palmetto, there are studies it helps hair loss. Plus minoxidil but these days just Finasteride. Same with me, it’s not like my hair before but still kept most of it, unfortunately only hair transplant can get temples back.

@@italia8647 yes. So I am in the borderline. In some style it looks fine. Very hard to spot. But some styles I can’t do. So I am actually thinking of maybe a small transplant. Going to test now minoxidil, prp, microneedling etc etc jair feels like a big hassle I won’t have discipline to do. Also it can risk creating problem so maybe better keep what works now with fin and fix corner and a little front density with a transplant

I live in Spain so maybe I should check out the oral minoxidil. Do you think it will help in thickening your and making more hair be present at the same time (I know it don’t really regrow hair) as said o hace ok coverage in front. Also around temples it’s mostly thinner hair. I still have a lot of hairs so i those can get thicker it would do a lot

Harry does some good video and has helped many people in his way, but Im with you guys. Just shaving your head when you are basically only a kid is devastating as you have really just started life and want to look your best. You look at all the teen kids and you know that hair is a big thing, as most of them will follow trends and have the same hair style. Harry doing some good things but like most people in the Hairloss industry, I think he's making money and getting kick backs and that doesn't sit well with me. I hope I'm wrong, and best wishes to him, as hes doing good things that won't hurt young kids, and that's the most important thing. Harry I'm a fan of you, just don't agree with everything.

The truth is somewhere in between. Before you get a hair transplant you should have a plan B for if things do go wrong or it doesn't go the way you want it to go; pics the doctor gives you are often the best results not the average case. Oral finasteride does slow down the process but unless you are a super responder you will likely not grow a lot of hair and everyone reacts to it differently; for some their hair loss is so aggressive that finasteride or even dutasteride won't slow it or stabilize it enough. That's why I disagree with the last point that if you do have a bit money then you should never go bald; this is not true for everyone.
