80s baby. Raised in Inglewood/SCLA. We never talked like the “blood in blood out” chicanos. Southern California is a giant melting pot of different people and different areas. There is no one single style.

Personally, Baldacci's "I Love L.A" is so beautifully put together, don't get me wrong all his songs are great but that one for me, just makes me miss L.A so much more. I bang it out here in Illinois and everywhere I go, but to me that's the one that shows the love that a person like me can have for their city. It's hard for some people to understand but that's one of the songs that can give a glimpse of the love that one can have for LOS. Much love, respect and health for Baldacci. Thanks to Gil, Boo Boo and Ginx for being great hosts. Keep the coming American Cholo!

When I listen to that track it reminds me of the first day coming home from jail and being so happy to take it all in seeing all my Hente and the streets and the cars, I couldn't decide which of all things I wanted more first then the other lol, my lady, some great food, and seeing all my missed familia!!! The feelings are over whelming,,,, never take these things for granted

@@em34ev3r Everyone has their own opinions but I could never agree with you on that. True L.A isn't perfect but no city is, it has it's pro's and con's like anything else. I can say this tho, the people, the feeling and the vibe can never be replicated, it truly is like no other. So we can agree to disagree cuz I'll always love my city, she and the people in it helped in raising me.
