In my interactions with birds they actually get exhausted quickly. I rescue Belted Kingfishers that fly in a warehouse I used to work at. By the time I get there they have no fight left and are pretty docile. The warehouse is right on the water so they get many other birds that fly in. @@14moon85 No, he was totally stressed amd scared. You can see that by his beak. It's open, and he's kinda panting. That's a sign for stress in many birds. Even in dogs. When dogs pant for no reason (so if it's not hot for example), it means that they're really stressed. My dog does that when there's a thunderstorm out there.

They can Bite ?! 😯
@cristiaolson7327
3 жыл бұрын
@@yaykruser The use their beaks to tear small animals into pieces, and could *very* easily remove one of your fingers. They don't use their beaks as their primary defense because their talons are more effective and in nature a sight hunter isn't going to casually put it's own eyes near a hazard, but you most definitely would not want to be bitten by an eagle. He probably wasn't biting because once an animal realizes it's not being hurt but can't escape either, they tend to just sort of give up after a short time instead of continuing to waste energy, especially birds. By the time they were handling him, he was probably pretty worn out anyway

I agree with your sentiment. But ironically they just saved an animal killing machine which will dispense an immeasurable amount animal suffering in order to sustain itself and it’s offspring. I do wonder how many poor critters will get ripped apart and eaten alive to sustain an animal that nature would have otherwise claimed. It’s Relatively inconsequential but something no one here has seemed to have spared a thought for.
@howeffingridiculous
3 жыл бұрын
@@crashtestcal6484 okay, should we kill all the "animal killing machines" to spare the "immeasurable amount animal suffering"? Predators are needed to balance the ecology. Do away with them and the suffering doesn't disappear it just changes into another form - the suffering that comes from overpopulation and heriditary problems and diseases when the the weaker members of the species are not dispatched by the predators for example.

Great rescue. God bless
Beautiful kindness to the Eagle
"How....How dare you! Unhand me! Don't do that with my legs! I am the terror of the skies! A symbol for hope and freedom and.....oh....oh that warm water feels *nice.* That's the spot..."
Thanks so much for this kind save. You are heroes for me
God bless and protect you. Thank you so much.
It warms my heart that there are still enough human beings with the compassion to help out members of other species who are in trouble.
