Excellent!! Obviously no one will ever come close to Patricia Mcbride, but this was so joyful and fun to watch, wish I could see the whole thing. She is absolutely wonderful, bravo!!

They've cut a lot of this ballet. It's a 7 minute ballet. And this was half that.

She is cute, but seems to lack the aura of recklessness and amused daring that makes this ballet so much fun to watch. I think (technique-wise) he has better training and it's a shame that his solos were what they decided to cut out. All in all (or at least the 'all' presented here), this was enjoyable and I hope they continue to develop their talent.

The New York City Ballet version with Edward Villella and Patricia McBride is uncut but older.

Ooooh they slowed it down. I don't blame them though, looks better and they're on time with lots of control.

why is she in a tutu? A more traditional/ethic skirt would be more fitting

in the original ballet (Balanchine's Tarantella with Patricia McBride and Villela) this is the exact same tutu. This is not a traditional Italian version of Tarantella and I think that for this neoclassical ballet (with pointe shoes) this fluffy white and red little tutu is perfect .....
