Really appreciate your view on just about everything!! When Andre stops by and you both start chatting, it’s just bonus!! Love the guy’s perspective. It always gives me pause. When I discuss it with my husband later, he always says, “Thanks, Andre!” Haha Love the series ❤

My husband and I have been together since I was 16 years old. We will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this month and 30 years together in December. Marriage for us is 100/100 there is no 50/50. He has to give 100% effort and I have to give 100% effort. If we don't both put our all in it will not work. I do appreciate all the advice ya'll give together and everything you teach us Angie. Love this course and can't wait to hear more. I'm a few days behind but I am almost all caught up. This has been a very EMPOWERING series!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Yes! A marriage cannot be tit for tat! When our son was born my husband and I had a motto “raising a child takes 200%” we are both always giving 100% so don’t resent one another. This also applies to marriage. Give your best in the moment sometime s that means picking up the slack for your partner!!

Couldn't agree more with both of you, I don't comment a lot but this was right on, always great to hear on the male prespective on things, my husband and I did a couple love language and learn so much ( granted we did it years ago) we been married for 24 years and dated for 5 so we been together for a while and we can both say we are still in love with each other, communication is key as well for us so thank you Andre for being here.

💞 Priorities (especially for the relationship), compatibility & complimentary strengths, and showing you value the other person, giving constructive feedback and accepting it too! ✨ I've also been married for eleven (in Dec)! 😊 The "love language" thing makes sense for how even certain tasks can be better for one partner or the other. I do think everyone has masculine and feminine qualities. Barring health issues - most people will naturally feel more traditionally inclined to their feminine or masculine "default" for sure. 😊 I value that understanding. In love, that's just how the majority of healthy people are. My husband is stronger than me, he is better at tasks that require that. Or things that prefer a ladder. It feels like a waste when he doesn't use his strengths to tackle things around the home, and I'm left to do those things because he did things I do better (dishes-attention to detail, getting the kids ready etc). We might sometimes pick up slack but as a general rule this is what works. If you compliment one another that's ideal. I'm learning from my husband how to be better at socializing to network. He's very outgoing naturally. Even though he doesn't LIKE it as much as I do. Lol He's just good at it and will start convos with strangers without thinking about it. I enjoy it many times, but am also stressed about my lack of social skills. I am the nuturer of the group. For more serious things, he wouldn't know how to deal. I give him a more gentle perspective also. We balance one another out. Even with my children in home-school; the relationship comes first. ❤ This has been a game-changer. Especially with a special needs child where that's a struggle. I feel bad for parents that are super busy and don't have the closer relationships maintained due to that. It's not easy to un-do. I was that way for only a few years between toddler and ages 5/7 and it was creating a terrible ripple effect of stress. Teaching them is easier, my husband and I have more success too, when we first have our relationship in order. This was a surprisingly deep and detailed video/convo! I love it!

Me and my husband started dating when I was 15 and have been together for 20 years married for 9. I think the bigger thing is choosing your spouse so young is that you don’t even know what you require of yourself at that age. I think how driven I am as the adult version of myself can be a bit overwhelming for him at times.

  • @ari3lz3pp

That's valid. ❤ Romantic story but for sure an added challenge there. I think if you've been together that long you must know one another really well though! And can grow together. I've been with my husband only about 12.5 years, going on 11 years married. It's hard to believe. I wouldn't recommend the route we took, not knowing one another before well enough...it's the other end of the spectrum. But we got married because I ended up pregnant. We legit hated one another for a while but now we have one of the strongest relationships we know. 💞 It took dedication, and commitment to the relationship VS just commitment to one another as individuals. That carried us long enough to have a foundation built on a connection when we accepted salvation which is what truly gave us the refresh we needed. Now we serve one another and I can be more driven as well.... I think often this is due to an imbalance of hormones. Especially today, there are many endochrine disruptors in our lives from soy to lavender even, and PVC...rayon/viscose...So I'd check that out in diet, hygiene products, medications and food. Underwear and hair products mainly for external. When we started to pay attention to endochrine disruptors we have improved our health even more and naturally I became more feminine and nurturing, more patient. He became more traditionally masculine and also more self-control. But willing to move forward as testosterone will do. The thing I notice still is he will eat fast food at work that has soy, and even when he had a deodorant with lavender....I noticed more moodiness and not willing to be as driven. Then removing that stuff is like a rebound and have to make it through. Making him lunch with less processed meats etc has been helping a ton! And he now understands he needs more cotton and silk etc in his life..❤

✨ANGIE & ANDRE, I loved this husband & wife as a team video! It was good. The only thing I didn't agree with, is when Ang, you said to get the aggression out in the gym, I think talking things out in private together lovingly & with understanding the others POV, is more important than holding it in and taking it to the gym. That holding in of emotions & stress isn't good for the body nor relationship. Make time IMMEDIATELY for that private sacred holy marital conversation so that things don't build up! Love you both! HUGS✨

You can do both I think. 😊 some things are healthy to get that anger out by exercise is actually proven to be healthy. I didn't hear her say she would hold it in...I think it's more about NOT holding it in, then talking later when that's done. "Pent up" can happen when you don't have TIME to talk it out right then, especially when it's an old habit or something. My husband and I have that where he might be at work, I find he left clothes on the floor again...I'm not going to harass him at work and it's not good to keep that in while I wait 8+ hours.

Hi Andre As I am new to your YT - I love how you can demonstrate respect for each other what a beautiful couple I 💯% agree that equal distribution of business and the day2day responsibilities is key. And it is true that you can do this whilst keeping your individual independence. I also believe it is true that trust and honesty is key and you will achieve that by having an open communication with each other which promotes a happy relationship - AWESOME STUFF GUYS LOVE YOUR WORK!
