Last year when I was doing these exercises I did not get the meaning of "relax into it". (I only had MS at that time that was under control by Copaxone.). This year I also have Parkinsons. Now I understand that "relax into it" and am finding it to be a big help for me. Thank you for leaving this exercise up. Mrs.

I found your exercises actually geared for seniors like myself (73 yrs.) I liked how you gave a 3 sec. count to ready oneself to do the exercise and the admonition to focus on what one's doing. The use of your timer added a 'timely' help in doing some of the exercises. Your encouragement to keep at it and improvement will come was appreciated. Thank you for making this Balance Practice for Seniors.

You're more than welcome Dee. Thank you for reaching out and your very kind feedback. I've seen many minds wander during balance practice, which can lead to sloppier practice and therefore lesser results. :) Keep up the exercising! - Mike

Brilliant thank you. Will add this to my routine. Balance is soooo important for we oldies :) I wonder if you could teach us the safest way to get up from the floor if we ever unfortunately find ourselves in that situation?

Your exercises are so helpful to me. Is it okay to do them every day or do legs need a rest? Should they be done in a certain order? Thank you . Dawn

  • @MoreLifeHealth

Hey Donna. It's really dependent on your current fitness levels and capabilities. Start by giving a day in between and then after 1-2 weeks add in more sessions. Gradual progression over time. Allow the body to adapt. It does not matter about the order, what's most important is staying consistent with the exercises! :)

Hi Mike, this is great stuff ……… thank you 😊! In your one leg balance exercisesI find it easier if I press the raised foot into the straight leg .Is this ok or is it cheating ???

I have had hip repair surgery after a fall along with fracturing my left wrist also. Hip surgery is also in my left side. Can you recommend any exercises for me. My surgery was October 3.

Why is one leg always easier than the other ? Have had both hips replaced which has left one leg slightly longer and it’s this one I have trouble with.
