The Blue letter Bible website is a great resource while listening and discerning. The way I use it is by typing in a certain name that is mentioned in this text. And the results will return every verse that the name typed is in the Bible. Many times I find the name in the Bible to certify. I haven't done any from this video. But I have with the book of Jasher and the book of the Jubilees.

Those are not Scriptures but Jewish Legends, so called Aggaddah. They read from Aggaddah in synagogues by the way.

Where is this text from? Not in the Bible. At least I don't remember hearing anything about this

They call this the legend of the Jews and to Jews it maybe but to the Hebrews this is history, truth to learn from, ancient WISDOM.

Jacob did pay for his lies in the end; by Yahuah sending him the same lies and deceit into his own life through Laban his father in law and then later lies from his sons who lied to him about Joseph, he learned through those experiences and repented later (as did his sons) for the sins of the past and made a change toward Yah,.. and Yah was merciful to forgave him/them. There are those who say around AD 90's, however, such a claim is based entirely upon one single statement written by a man who had very questionable ideas regarding dates and times to begin with. This man felt Jesus died at over fifty years of age instead of 33. His name is Irenaeus who lived from AD 120 to 202. He made statements that puts the writing of Revelation around AD 96, He repeated this in his writings title "Against Heresies", dated around AD 175-180. He claimed Polycarp, a student of John the Revelator (the writer of Revelation), related this to him in his youth. In In Book II of his Against Heresies, Irenaeus writes: All the clergy who in Asia came in contact with John, the Lord's disciple, testify that John taught the truth to them; for he remained with them till Trajan's [98 to 117 A.D.] time. That put John around 100 - 110 years old or older if he was 15 or 20 years or older in Jesus time.
