@@technicianbis5250 I understand your point. It is very common to think this way because leaders teach this to us. So anyone believing this is not to blame. However, what is apparently Moses's testimony, is the testimony of a man but a very interesting testimony indeed - because we see he got the Jews of his time to worship a snake on a pole, similar to the way that christians worship a man or a Dove In Deuteronomy , the writer tells us all men are liars i.e "God is not a man that he should lie" or a son of man that needs to repent " So, according to "Moses" .. God is not a man, neither a son of man. I guess this is going to be a stumbling block for many but I'm not here to fault people. I've made one video on my channel discussing it. Remember, I'm also just a man - so , people have to be careful about what men say or claim.

I read a little on Wikipedia about this book and it was brought to light in the 1700s. No way of knowing if this is the actual book of Jasher mentioned in the Bible.

The Babylonian Talmud says: "After the latter prophets departed, Haggai, Zachariah and Malachi, the Holy Spirit departed from Israel." Luke 24:44-45: Jesus said "...these are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms." This is how the Jews grouped the 22 Books of the Tanach into three sections. 5 - Law of Moses; 13 - the prophets; 4 - the psalms (not just the book of Psalms). This makes 22. 1st and 2nd Samuel, are the Book of Samuel; same with Kings and Chronicles. Believing Christians have the same number of books - actual content, as the Jews. This is what Ecclesisticus has: "Ye are intended with favour and attention, and pardon us if, in any part of what we laboured to interpret, we have failed in some of the phrases." If it were inspired by God, such a phrase would never have been included let alone needed to be stated. Jesus never quoted from any apocryphal book, nor did the apostles. Yet Jesus and His apostles DID quote and speak to many of the Books of the Hebrew Scriptures (Tanach). Contradictions in the apocryphal books prove God did not inspire them. Why did the Roman Catholic heirarchy include only 7 (there are more) apocryphal books as part of their Canon? Those 7 support their false doctrines of Purgatory; praying to the dead (departed souls), paying for dead souls to be released from sins. Don't assume this is the same "Book of Jasher" the Torah speaks about. Many spurious "books", "gospels", "letters", have written over the centuries. Unless there is absolute unquestionable proof it is the exact same Torah mentioned book, we must hold it at a distance

@@Eddie33154 It is the same book as in the 1517 edition of the King James Bible and one of the books of the apocrypha and was originally part of the King James Bible. Some modern versions of the Bible exclude the Book of Jasher, and the Apocrypha but the original King James version does not because it was part of the original Bible when it was translated into English.

@@johnhbaldwin9178 It may be the same book as included in the 1517 KJV edition. But that doesn't automatically validate it as inspired by God, as far as I am concerned. If this 'Jasher' book is inspired by God, all its details will line up with what the Torah and Joshua and Judges reveals. As I understand it, the Jewish compialers of the Tanach, never considered any of the 'apocryphal' books inspired by God, yet they included the present 22 Books by Hebrew counting (by 39 English counting) in the Tanach. As I have mentioned above and also noted in another comment under this video, details must line up. But listening to the reading of chapter 69 - which I did not finish listening to, details about Saul being made king of Israel; and Balaam, Israel and Pharaoh do not line up with the Biblical record. This is enough for me to put "Jasher" on the back burner; if I am free in the future I may listen again. None of the present 66 books of the Holy Bible contradict one another. Jasher appears to me to be in contradiction so it doesn't warrant my immediate attention. There MAY be some facts presented correctly, but if contradictions appear then it is the work of men.

@@Eddie33154 I have read the book of Jasher three or more times and all the books of the Apocrypha, the book of Enoch and the so-called lost books of the Bible, and the Bible four or five times. I find the book of Jasher to be completer and more detailed than the book of Genesis. The original first verse of Genesis reads: The father of creation, created the heavens and the earth and the Elohim, and the Elohim, created man in their image. But you won't find that version of the first verse of Genesis in the version of today's Bible because it was changed or mistranslated. Do you know that it is the Edomites who are called Jews and it is the Edomites who are claiming the land of Israel today. It seems to me that you have more Biblical research to do. When you do your research, then come back and we can talk.

@eitoobmiz Not all of it. But certainly some of it isn't right. The Bible quotes Jasher, Jubilees and Enoch though, so these texts were well known and well studied during the time of Christ and after. These texts should not be taken as fact, though. As in any history, some is wrong and some isn't, but these texts are not (and should be taken) as inspired.

And even then, the information in it still isn't entirely false, as it quotes the Bible in various places. I'm wondering why you bother hanging about these videos if you're so convinced it's all a big lie, though. But whatever flips your pancakes. 👍🏻

Killing was already here when Columbus came. Indian history is full of Indians killing Indians just like in Europe where Europeans were killing each other, Africans were killing each other, Asians were killing each other, the middle east and all over the world there has been constant death, genocide, human sacrifices and other abominations. The Word of God declares all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There is one God who created the human race thereby while many ethnic groups the human race goes back to Adam who sinned bringing destruction to the world. Jesus Christ came to do His Fathers will to set people free, not by politics, economics, philosophy or religion but by offering His perfect sinless body to br crucified on a cross, He shed HIs Holy Blood, died then rose from the grave on the third day. Christ was victorious over sin, death and the devil. He is now at the right hand of God His Father and will come to judge all who have refused to repent and believe. White people if they don't repent and believe will be standing with all races will before the judgement seat of God. Gospel is the good news and thank God we still have time to spread the Word of Salvation to all who will listen for the Word of God states, believing comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God.

There is more than 1 version of the book of Jasher that is being circulated. It is very helpful in providing background information, but it would be diligent to be sure that any info from within it lines up with canonized scripture before one regards it as doctrine.

@eitoobmiz Hence, the name pseudigraphical. However, it provides much historical background & expands ones views of the cultures & traditions dating back to those times. And, in contrast to Josephus, whose works were secular, yet accepted as testimony of his times, provides a look at those cultures from authors with perhaps, a more Godly perspective. Jeremiah was told to learn to extract the foolish from the precious. He is talking about knowledge. In order to do that in this day & age, one must be equipped with the Holy Spirit provided by Jesus. You have more to fear from James Dobson & Pat Robertson & Franklin Graham. Will you come out & call their books fake because , "they are wolves in sheep clothing"? Will you call out all the dispensational 501-C-3 churches? Better stick to; love the Lord with all your heart, might & strength & love your neighbor as yourself". This will ensure your path will be cleared & protected by the Holy Spirit who abides in you, if you are truly walking with Jesus. Stick with your first love. Shalim

Jesus is an ancient Greek name and Matthew 1:23 Emmanuel(Jesus)was born a Hebrew of the bloodline of Judah(YAHUDAH). EMMANUEL means GOD(YAH-Psalm 68:4) with us or YASHUA( YAHWEH is Salvation ). Especially when it is referenced by name twice in the cannon. Joshua 10:13 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 2 Samuel 1:18 18 (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.) Now consider 2 Timothy 3:16. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: All scripture includes Joshua and 2 Samuel. These two establish Jasher as a credible source for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction. I agree with you. It should be in cannon.

@@brentfenske2948 The question is: Is this text that is being read is actually the very same book spoken of in the Torah? Unless it can be absolutely established that this text being read is exactly the same text referred to in the Scriptures, it is not right to assume it is. In the reading of chapter 69 of Jasper, reference is made of the children of Israel making Saul their King. But this is not referring to them being in Canaan but near Edom. Then there is reference to the king of Egypt recognising that the counsel of Balaam against the children of Israel fails, so they inflict more misery on Israel in Egypt. Unless I am mistaken, these details do NOT agree with those in the Torah. I haven't got the text in front of me, just going from what I have heard.

Mario Piazza in answer to your wondering: I thought the same thing until I read 2 parts to this book. We cannot accept some chapters and deny others of the Bible. It doesn't work like that. So, when I heard Chapter 36, when Anna took his fathers's asses to feed in the desert by the seashore and "120 great and terrible animals" came out and took the asses, I knew this would not be accepted into the Cannon. Same for Chapter 61 when Zeffo saw a man/beast such as this eating his calf and killed it. The men they saw were what they said were monsters...half man/half beasts. To admit that there were beings other than humans and angels and gods was a step too far. This admittance would require another entire book to explain how these beings got into God's plan and His earth.

I always had a theory that those beasts we learn from mythology, dinosaurs, etc. It all came from fallen angels fornicating with Gods creations. Im learning these Apocrypha for knowledge, whether to learn it is all a big lie to desecrate Gods stories, or if it might have some hidden knowledge Like the book of Enoch. It tells of these same creatures in the old testament. This came from the fallen angels manipulating and perverting all the beasts of the air and fields.

This is part 5 of the audio recording of the book of Jasher. You can download the KJV for free. It has ninety one chapters in total and covers in great detail from Adam and Eve to the death of Joshua. The Book of Jasher is mentioned in the bible in Joshua 10:13, 2Samuel 1:18, and was used as a reference in 2Tim 3:8

All scripture is profitable for the man of God. Scripture is defined as the Holy Oracles of God. That being said many scriptures have been hidden from the people some by God and some by His enemies. I personally search out the 20 plus books that are mentioned in the bible. A few people have decided what is inspired and what isn't as if they have the final say and rule over the Kingdom of God.

I too try and find the book that as reference to other stories in the bible. Be not lazy my people to seek knowledge. The bible is undone without these books. Getting them and listening to them makes the bible come alive and complete. The devil is a deceiver and so when the were contemplating to comprised these books of the bible they took out our power. I'm concerned about the Apocrypha, and pray to be able to "store" any such readings (enjoyable, though they are!) in a different "file" in my head. I never want to confuse them with what I consider to be the sanctified Word of the Bible. I would be concerned to include them in with teachings to the young since they would be unlikely to "store" these separately. (I just pray that I can, as an old lady! 😊) Also, I LOVE the old Bible movies such as, "King of Kings"!! I just LOVE them. Still, I pray to, again, "store" their added information separately from our treasured Bible. (Call me, "silly," but it matters to me.)

I had same problem. In my case it has to do with overweight. After I lost 15 kg I sleep much bettee. My Rule no 1 do not eat after 6 pm. My Rule no. 2 two days a week until 4-5 pm. I chose Wednesday and Friday for that as for centuries those days had been fasting days among Christians as Lord was betrayes on Wednesday and sufferred on Friday. Make an effort and Lord will reward you! I tell you from my own experience. Regular Prayer before sleep will certainly help too.

These books were considered "not inspired of God" and there fore were removed, not only Jasher but also 1st and second Maccabees, Enoch, Adam and so on. Personally i would have left them in the Bible but right at the back with a footnote.

Remember the Bible saying that when the Israelites were placed into bondage, that it was due to a new Pharaoh who didn’t know (the history/ of Joseph) and of the relationship between Egypt and the Hebrews... (Exodus 1: 8- 9) So, this implies that quite a few “Pharaohs” had come and gone throughout the years enough that history has been forgotten to this degree... Or, (and this is just theory): a new “conquering” Pharaoh may have risen into power in Egypt from a far off, a warrior king who battled with and won over Egypt... But, as there is no proof os this, as I said, it’s just a small theory of mine... Although I’m more inclined to believe that many many years passed and Jospeh and his deeds were just forgotten by this “new” Pharaoh...

adeline McCue Very true, what you said is where I was going with the “conquering” Pharaoh, one who after he won over Egypt in battle, going over the areas historical records, Joseph just was overlooked, or something else, maybe just wasn’t deemed that important of a fact... Also, maybe it was a logistical decision; they had their people, and then there were the Israelites... The Egyptians needed laborers and the Israelites just “fit the bill” at that moment, and voila, instant slaves... Although, I think it may have happened gradually as they probably became more and more subservient over the decades... As it is theorized that the Israelites were only in captivity for some 200- 250 or so years, and not the full 400 years they were there... But, it’s all speculation at this point, being that the Bible doesn’t give details such as these... For me, it’s just pure fun speculating of details like this, more ways to make the Bible really come alive to oneself... My conclusion ultimately is, if God thought not to include it, it’s a detail He either seemed not important or just something we shouldn’t know at this time... I did do a little research on this sapphire rod of Moses, and in the details of the Book of Jasher, it reads very similar to the myth of Excalibur, the sword of the “prophesied” and fictional king Arthur... Many of the stories we’ve learned and heard as children can truly be traced back to the stories of the Bible and other books such as Jasher and Enoch, etc... When Moses went up to the mountain for 40days to get the 10 commandments then he broke it b'cos they made the golden calf Bible didn't mentioned about grinding to powder & make them drink so those who involve in making the calf died So how long did Moses went up the mountain again to get the 10 commandment the 2nd time? The sanctuary takes 5 months to built; it was after leaving Egypt & before going up the mountain. Sometimes you read the bible 1 verse to another verse can take a long period of time like Genesis verse 1 & 2. Sometimes 1 day is 1000 years & other times 7000 years is 7 years. Some verse is for Israel; some for believers.

Odelia Tan Actually, the Book of Holy Scriptures (oh Bible as some call it), does mention the breaking and grounding into powder and the drinking of this powder by Moses of those worshipping this golden calf... As it is written: (Exodus 32: 20)...

Also, the second time Moses went into the mount to receive the second set of tablets written on by the hand of God, he stayed just as the first time, 40 days and nights, without food nor water... In all, Moses did this fasting of no food nor water at least four times by my count... You can gather this information in the Books of Numbers and Deuteronomy... My mistake, I’m wrong, it’s not detailed in the Book of Numbers, only in the Book of Deuteronomy detailing the four times Moses fasted forty days and nights without food nor drink... (I went and got my notes...) Read in the Book of Deuteronomy chapter 9: 9 is the first, chapter 9: 18 is the second, chapter 9: 25 is the third, and chapter 10: 10 is the fourth... Deuteronomy is basically the retelling of pretty much the second through fourth Books of the Bible... Imagine Moses around a large camp fire retelling the history of the Israelites to the then alive Israelites being that many of them died during their wandering the wilderness of forth years, from when they left Egypt to right before they crossed the Jordan river... Two times Moses fasted for forty days are the two times he received the commandments in stone from YHWH- God, and the other two times were when he prayed to YHWH- God to spare Aaron’s life on account of the making of this golden calf and the other was so God wouldn’t destroy the people of Israel for being such a stiff-necked people being rebellious against God has His commandments... @@MCClark I read the bible a few times throughout the years but did not see this. Thanks for telling me. So after burning the calf in fire and ground it to powder & strawed it upon the water & made the children of Israel drink of it; what happened to them?

@@MCClark I know Moses went up the mountain & fasted but didn't realised how many time he fasted for so long & thought since he already knew what was written on the stone it would be faster the 2nd time. While he was up the mountain wished there were more of what happened up there. 40 days of events & experiences.

@Dylan t Jew is just short for Judah one of the 12 sons of Jacob whose name was changed to Israel the name Israel was a man before a place and Moses was from the tribe of Levi one of the 12 sons of Jacob they were all black.
