Very cool method bro , but please get them a little ramp for getting in/out, I'm freaked out that they will pop a joint or pull a tendon.

Baking soda is good for a people bath too.1/4 cup in a toasty warm tub makes your skin (& your hairs) so soft! Good foot soak, natural pumice… of course you could just jump in with your dog, shake off, dry in the sun…I won’t tell anyone, I won’t say a word🤫🤣🤣😂😉😄🐾🐾🐾🐾

im 55 and have Pits my whole life, once i had a female Pit that wouldn't get in the water tell she smelled the baking soda in the water too.. my grandmother told me about using baking soda back in the 70s when i was a kid. she was the only dog i ever had that loved a bath, seemed all the rest just tolerated it.. lol. thank u for the video. took me back to being a kid.

Oh my... I had a gorgeous Red American Pit. I loved that dog with all my heart, but he loved us even more. One day, when he was 8-years-old, he laid down and never woke up. He was begging for chicken right before he went to sleep, everything seemed fine, it was such a shock. I've wanted a new dog, but knew that it would be hard to replace such a beautiful dog and specimen, but I see that you breed dogs as beautiful as my Rocko. I'd drive from San Diego to Texas to have a dog like that. I just spoke to my son yesterday about wanting a new pitty, I was thinking blue, my son said, "No... Red." Even your females are gorgeous. Wow... I'm going to show this video to my son. Meanwhile, my half-Pitty-half-Bullmastiff brindle stinks to high heaven, I'll bath her with baking soda. Thanks for leaving a contact number.

I use baking soda add a bite of salt to brush my teeth. My teeth are white and feels cleanner than toothpaste. I only use it 1-3 times a week.

Thank you! It makes sense especially when you talk about fungal issues. Fugus grows in acidic conditions and the baking soda neutralizes the acid. Bingo! Going to use this on our pup tonight. Beautiful dogs!

Thanks for the video & info. I have a huge bag of baking soda from a Costco trip 3 years ago, I had no idea. I dipped all 3 of my dogs who are fighting fleas, they enjoyed the cool water on a hot Texas day and are much more comfortable now, also made a 50/50 mix of the powder (corn starch /baking soda) and ran around treating 7 Corgis and a Great Pyrenees.

You can give them a quick baking soda bath by pouring on baking soda and use a brush to finish cleaning. ( Thats one way of doing it)

Yeah, me too... during the winter, I bath my dog in the tub, when summer rolls around, I bathe her outside.

These are all good tips. My dog gets a bath in WARM water. I use Virgin Organic coconut oil on my dogs skin. It's a miracle healer. She is allergic to fleas and was itching so much she was plucking out her fur. Also she had scaly dryness which healed within days. I use it on my long haured cat when his Serrsto collar stops working to get rid of the flea eggs.

Wow what a great idea! I have a hound mix who gets really dirty and stinky during the summer, as our yard can get quite dusty from how quickly the dirt dries after rain. I'll definitely have to try this with her, especially if she gets fleas!

My chihuahua, as she's aged, has got allergic itching. We've tried changing her diet and spent $$$$ on shampoos that dont work. Unfortunately, the only relief she gets is a cyptopoint injection every month or so. Not wanting to do this kind of intervention, i started blitzing oatmeal into a powder and soaking her in it. It would bring temporary relief. I had a box of bi carb and added it to her bath water, the results are amazing!!

I have a blue bully that has been suffering from yeast for years. I feed him Victor. As soon as he goes thru a round of vet meds… it’s back within a week or so. I’ll try this as well. Thank you.

You need to give a good probiotic and change the food, or the protein. If it’s chicken try beef or pork. Look up a company called “Four Leaf Rover” for good dog product. They have one called (Protect) give it for one straight month at bedtime in a bit of home made bone broth, or a good store bought one just for dogs. Don’t give the human bone broth too animals.

My yorkie had yeast for years... I saw a vid from a holistic vet who said to bathe them with Seltzen Blue shampoo... the original plain shampoo for humans. He's had no yeast since! Every couple of months I give him a Seltzen bath, just to assure it never comes back. It hasn't since the first time I used it tho! Cheap and fast remedy!

@@nellya.9920 , Yeast is a fungal bacteria that spreads in moist areas. Ears, under parts etc. It itches worse than fleas & stinks like rank Fritos. It makes a yellow crust on their skin. It’s miserable!

Question after the first two dogs. Should you change it to a clean water?Because I would think putting other dogs in dirty water defeats the purpose?

Yes for sure. I totally agree. I said the same thing before I saw the comment about boiling some water. I would definitely boil water and put it in that and then put the rest of the hose water in there so it's not too cold cuz they have a feedback loop with their temperature as well and we don't want them to get too cold. I don't care if you're in Texas, Florida or Wisconsin. Just put some warm water in there first. Thank you. And it also makes the baking soda break down faster. But yeah good idea and also this baking soda. It polishes our skin and makes it smooth and soft and it does the same thing for our little doggies and also eats away dead skin cells. It's a good antimicrobial like you said. Good job just warm that water up warm that water up for those babies ❤️ nice dogs too by the way, I've got two pits

Warm water wouldn't change the effects of the baking soda at all. I've got a 10 yr old Maltese in not putting her in cold water. Nor my 100 lb male pit who's 3. That's not comfortable or pleasant .

It’s the same as a dog jumping in to its pool or a river which is colder. The dog will be fine if he found it unpleasant he would have jumped right out.

So glad I found this! My dogs have been itching for no reason. Gave them oatmeal bath and treated for fleas. Found no fleas. They seem to itch a lot after winter. Will this help them if it’s seasonal allergies? I will have to try this. Thanks for sharing!

Boil a pot of hot warter 1st, then put the warter from the hose ! Even the temperature out so that the warter is warm. When bathing the cuties outside. That's what i do. No poch wants to be put in cold water! We dont like it, niether do they! Js🤷🏽‍♀️🩷

Cold water is good for you. I take ice cold showers all summer long. Lowers your core temperature and is good for your joints.

How often should you wash them with baking soda? Does it help with dryness? Can any dog be washed this way?

Change there diet there are to any carbs and sugar in it, that is what’s causing the issues in the first place. The manufacture might have changed the formula.

Cold press coconut oil , cornstarch, baking soda ( everything is organic with NO aluminum) Shea butter cold pressed . I have to have castor oil too .
